RostraComplete Cruise Control Kit 250-9613

I got this at a discount from an Amazon warehouse deal. Everything was there but I suspect the previous buyer was intimidated by the seemingly complicated install procedure. After watching a few videos and taking my time / going slowly, the cruise works perfectly with minimal drift above / below the set speed. If you are not mechanically inclined or adventurous, then recommend you find a mechanic that is willing to do the install before you purchase.

Works great! No problems so farNot a mechanic and I was able to figure it out fairly simple. Better than what a dealer would charge.Took me about 2 hours including me running to O’Reillys to grab solder gun and heat shrink.

Revising the original review from 5 stars down to 1 star. Worked for almost 2 years then started having problems making a good connection at the OBD2 port and started turning off at random intervals. I found that reseating the plug made a better connection and it would work again.....for a while. On two separate occasions it started accelerating wildly and threw a throttle position sensor code and put the pickup into limp mode before I could turn it off using the steering column switch. The second time this happened I also got a codes for a Stabilatrak fault and traction control fault in addition to the throttle position sensor error (again putting the pickup in limp mode). I have since disconnected the unit and have no plans of using it ever again.---Original Review---This unit is fairly easy to install and works great. It was kind of a pain to solder the power wire to the wire indicated in the instructions. The loom in my pickup didn't leave much room to work with but Rostra kit has plenty.

I bought this through Amazon Warehouse Deals, got it for a third of retail. It came in a Amazon bag, had all unopened parts, instructions and had it installed in about an hour. We will see how long it lasts but for now it's working like a champ.I installed it on a 2015 2.5 automatic Colorado. Test drive went well. Very nice product and instructions are easy to follow.

The only reason I’m not giving it a 5 star is because I had to call the help desk to clarify the instructions. They weren’t exactly clear as I needed. But it’s a great product and I used it on a 2-1/2 hour drive (each way) and I have no complaints

Install was simple, but recommend having a professional install. Works perfectly for me. 2016 Chevy Colorado

New 2014 Cruze LS with only 400 miles on it. I just installed the 9613 for automatic transmission. Works great and easy to install with basic mechanic skills. Only 1 wire to solder the rest was plug and play.

Works good. I'd be happier if the cruise control varied only 1 mph instead of 3 on my 2014 Chevy Cruze. This is not for the novice installer and will take the experienced specialist 15 min to install and the novice mechanic 2 hours. You'll need to splice 1 wire so have a soldering iron and solder handy. All in all the product is great and is so much cheaper than buying a new steering wheel, air bag, and having the dealership install & program a factory cruise control ($800).

The product itself is amazing. It works as good as factory cruise. Smooth engaging when set and no problems with the BCM. This is a great product HOWEVER...the installation instructions are horrible. You cannot install this with their instructions. This job is NOT for someone that has no knowledge of autos. Check Youtube for the instructions. Also the shipping was absolutely WAY too long, absolutely not acceptable.
