I purchased this item not for batteries but to hold chemlights when in the field at night. The velcro is strong and easily affixes onto the back of my tactical vest. The only reason I did not give out 5 stars is because this product ships from China. It took 10 days which was less than the 3-6 weeks estimated on the order confirmation. I don't know of my shipment time was normal or I was lucky?
