I tore something in my knee a few years ago, and although it mostly healed, I still had days where it hurt and twinged while walking. A friend told me to try Glucosamine, so I did some research and ordered Puritan's Pride. I've used several of their other supplements (fish oil, probiotics, vitamin D) and feel that they give good quality and are reasonably priced.I've used their glucosamine daily for about three months now, and I feel I can tell a difference in my knee. I have very little discomfort and no crackling sound when I squat. My husband took it for about a month but didn't feel it did anything for his old rotator cuff injury.As we get older, stuff starts to ache and work less smoothly than when we were young. Glucosamine has a long, proven track record for helping cartilage and joints, so it's just a matter of picking a reputable company for the supplements. I'm very happy with Puritan's Pride brand and will order again when my bottle is nearly empty.

I used this produce to help reduce arthritic pain in my joints. It has helped. Rather a large capsule and difficult to swallow.

I have had painful hip joints for about six months and at 58, with other medicated health problems, I just couldn't face seeing another doctor for one more thing. My left hip especially was uncomfortable when I layed in bed on that side. Walking was beginning to be difficult. It might be my lipitor causing the pain I'm told, but I can't stop taking that. Maybe arthritis?At any rate, I figured if this stuff works then problem solved,it sure can't do any harm and it's cheap. OMG IT WORKS. My hip joint pain was better in a few days and went away Completely in a couple weeks! Seriously, how often does something work that well?

I only have two days using this product but so far my right knee is feeling better - even though I've read it takes up to 3 months to see the effects of this sort of supplement. Perhaps it's placebo? Or the Carlson Fish Oil I purchased no long ago making strides in my joints? Who knows. For now, while taking these two supplements and using the TELALEO Knee Sleeves to do my leg routine at the gym, my right knee is feeling the best it has ever felt in the past 2 months.I shall update the review as time goes on.Edit 1 - Update 7.4.2017: Have to add this thing is working. I take one in the morning with the breakfast and one at night with the dinner. Removing the Fish Oil and just sticking with this also didn't present any difference. H#ck, I'm feeling better withouth the Fish Oil altogether for the right knee problem. Basically the best Glucosamine I have ever bought online.

I have pretty severe osteoarthritis, esp. in feet, ankles, knees and shoulders; my husband has very painful arthritis in his hip. Glucosamine (even the sulfate) never did much for me before, until I found and used Dona's Crystalline glucosamine. That really completely took away my husband's hip pain, and was helpful, but not so dramatically, for my pains. The problem was the cost: $60.00 a month for us both! So I tried Puritan's Pride--amazing! It works as well as Dona's! I was quite surprised. And the cost is much much less. My joints certainly are not those of a child, even with this glucosamine, but the pain is improved, and my knee isn't coming out of joint so much anymore. And my husband still has 100% relief, which is good, since he spends a lot of time on his feet and (recently) climbing ladders. I think Puritan's Pride, an old fashioned company that has been around for decades, genuinely makes quality products.

I've used Glucosamine Sulfate for joint problems for over 40 years. It has always worked like a charm. Costco was having a sale on G. HCI with MSM, so I thought I would give it a try. After a few weeks of taking the new formula my shoulder became useless and painful. I decided I had better order the Puritan's Pride and get started on my old formula right away. I went to both Amazon and Puritan sites only to find that this is a different formula-It's only 680 Mg and is G. HCI instead of G sulfate. I checked the Puritan site for any G. sulfate pruducts and found none. I don't know if this is a supply chain issue or a cost issue. I am going to order the new Puritan formula and take it twice a day and see if I get any relief from my shoulder pain. The original Puritan formula was 5 Star all the way,but I don't know if this new Puritan formula will work as well. I don't know if they way this is being listed is a fault on the part of Puritan or Amazon.
