Pioneer DJ DDJ-200 Smart DJ Controller, Black

Have been meaning to transition from being a cd jock to digital for years as it justSeemed the way to go. I’m only an amateur dj have played out live a few times but mainly just a hobby. Best piece of kit I have bought in years. For someone starting out this is the way to go. Easy to use and 100% portable AND ITS PIONEER!!!!!! WeDJ is a tad awkward to use on iPhone as it’s small but it’s a great app. Personally DJay by algoriddim is my fave app. Works perfectly with my iPad Air 4. Has made me want to upgrade to a MacBook now and then maybe if I get good again upgrade to a more expensive ddj unit. Ample effects in app make up for the lack of filter keys and knobs on the unit but u can assign hot keys on the performance pads. What Else can u expect for such a low price. Simply brilliant.

Bought this for my son who wants to learn how to DJ. Didn't want to spend a fortune in case he got bored quickly, but it has everything needed to learn the basics. Nice bit of kit.

I got this controller to practice mixing on at a beginner level and they came with Serato lite, overall i do like them, Serato works well, there is latency issue's that i think i have fixed, but the scratch pad is very responsive, the fx are ok nothing too fancy but they do the job, the feel of the controller is very plastic but everything is responsive and very easy to just plugin and play, no hassle easy to get started!

I used to DJ with just a laptop, but found using these controller desks not only makes DJ'ing a bit more fun, but also makes you look more like a pro.I use Mixx software, but they're compatable with loads of other apps and programs and you can also customise the controls. You connect to your computer via a USB, and that powers it too, so no extra plug required.If this is your first time using DJ controllers, you might want to spend a good few hours at home getting used to them and working out what everything does, but once you know what you're doing it really is easy. If you're a little more experienced, you can basically dive straight in!I was going to go for the next model up, but really, these have everything you need for most DJ'ing needs. Enjoy!

verry user friendly use the dedicated app on your phone and you will be a dj in no time brilliant for beginners small and compact verry easy to wire up

It’s a great product,but the splitter cable to the headphones was not connecting properly ,there is a tear on the box that I am returning and I will pay for it if need be ,thanks Charles

overall the decks work fine. the only problem i’m having with a wire to plug into a device and then a split wire for the speaker and headphones. when i plug my headphones in i only hear the song that is currently playing and not the song i want to mix in. im pressing the cue button and still hearing nothing. any way i can solve this

The deck itself is excellent: Ideal for a beginner, does exactly what it's supposed to, and is well made for the price. I would happily recommend it to a friend, as it performs as you would expect from Pioneer, yet it's extremely competitively priced.However. The first one received had an electrical fault, which meant we received occasional small electric shocks. Amazon were very good about sending a replacement by next day post, but whoever was working in their warehouse decided that, as a delicate piece of electronics, it should be packaged in a brown paper bag. That's it, total, a brown paper bag! No outside box, no padding, not even waterproof. As could be predicted by anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together, it arrived with dents, marks, and outright holes, all over the product packaging.In addition, the pull out piece on the lid of the packaging was nearly torn off, making it pretty obvious that this wasn't a new product, but rather a return from somebody else. Is this an Amazon policy, because I'm seeing it more and more often with items fulfilled by them: To keep sending any returned items back out to new buyers and see if they get lucky and somebody keeps one of them?Amazon - You put so much effort into your customer service, with things like next day delivery, free product support, and a very understanding returns process. Yet you allow all of that to be let down, over and over again, by employing people in your warehouses who clearly have no training, or even any common sense. If it's not a pencil and rubber packed in 2 boxes the size of a TV, then it's a glass decanter packed in a soft bubble wrap envelope. Sort it out please, for your own sakes as well as your customers'.
