This thing is a great idea if they would just take the time to actually build it right. I tried to use it for the first time and come to find out the cutting blade was installed backwards. While taking the cover off to fix the blade, the 2 plastic prongs just snapped and broke inside as I was using a ballpoint pen to open the cover. After the first one broke, I tried very carefully not to break the second one but it snapped as well. I had to super glue the cover back on after fixing the blase. This is cheap and there is obviously little to no quality checks going on here. Use ABS plastic and this thing will last forever, as it is, it may last to the end of the spool. Also, shouldn't the tongue thing on the back actually touch the spool so that it keeps it from unwinding on it's own? Another great idea ruined by crappy production.

Super handy and simple to use, built in cutter works great. Four stars due to poor packaging. Items shipped in a bag not a box, which allowed the packages to get bent and folded and generally look used. Not a problem normally, but they were bought as stocking stuffers for Christmas. too damaged to give as a gift.

Works great and the cutter is so helpful. Only thing I don't like is that the V that holds the cord in place is too narrow to actually hold the cord. Took a couple of swipes with sandpaper and the cord slipped in nicely.

the notch that holds the Paracord in place like a roll of tape was to big sucks having to find the end and other times it'll just get unraveled.The first one I bought was black hold Paracord in place right by the razor.easy peasy.

Nice product to keep in your vehicle, toolbox or in a EDC pouch. Some reviews complain about cord unspooling but if used as explained it works flawlessly. Extra spools of cord can be easily found and come in multiple colors also.

This has become my new go to cordage. For its compact size it has come in so handy. This is perfect for a ridgeline or tying out your tent or tarp. I'm not saying that it should replace your paracord but it definitely takes many of the jobs away from paracord in a much smaller size.

I switched out their 95lb nanostring for Neon Orange 275 lbs paracord. Their spool holds about 60 ft and the blade cuts the larger cord with no problems.

This product is a great little tough cord to have with you.....whether it’s in your car, garage, or the to go bag. The cord is great and having a dispenser is a really great idea. Atwood makes some of the best cord/rope in the business.
