Protects against sunburn and abrasions from sand
This Long Sleeve Rash Guard Shirt from Marina Threads does a great job of protecting my very fair skinned daughter from sunburn and abrasions from sand. It's made of a thick, 82% polyester and 18% spandex, knit fabric. As with all swimwear, you should hand wash and hang to dry to preserve the elasticity of the fabric. This top has long, contrasting, raglan sleeves. There is a contrasting, high crew neckband. The body fits very closely and extends to about mid hip on my daughter, who is short. Even though she wears a Small normally, because of how closely this shirt fits, the Medium is fine and just a bit looser, which she prefers. The size Large fits me snugly but well. All seams are flatlocked to prevent rubbing or irritation.I got the Printed Green and the Printed Black colors. The Printed Green is very attractive, IMO, and the sleeves and collar are a jade green that compliments the print well. The Printed Black is made a bit differently with the striped areas at the sleeve ends and the upper, front bodice being separate pieces of fabric. I really like this because the seaming under the bust provides a bit of shaping and underbust support which is great for women with larger breasts. This is the third rashi I have by Marina Threads and I am super impressed with the quality. They protect my daughter's upper body as well as high SPF sunscreen so she isn't having to slather on quarts of sunscreen every 20 minutes. With a rashi, she only has to apply sunscreen to her face and legs, which she can reach herself. Great garment for very fair skinned people or surfers, especially. Even though I have dark skin, I love rashis for being on the beach in fall weather. Just enough warmth and protection to keep me very comfortable.

Fits like a top
This is a hand wash rashguard. Most likely if you machine wash, you'll lose SPF.I wore it for night swimming bc I prefer more cover up due to mosquitos.Yes, I live with year round mosquitos & did not get bit where Marina Threads rashguard covered. Did get my neck tho, evil little vampires.I wear a misses large, size 12-36C.This large has roooooom. It fits well & doesn't interfere with swimming but could easily fit a DD in here & size 14 no problem. The sleeves came down mid hand which I like and its great colors & patterns.Looks like something you'd see on Billabong wear or a board.Great shades of purple & deep aqua with black accents. If I get a burn during the day in this top,I'll update. If no update, I probably ordered another.

Fits like active wear
This is my 2nd Marina Rashguard & I love it as much as the first. However, the fit is more form fitting like active wear.I have a Large in both which is my size. It's more fitted across my 36C bust but could fit a D cup.Where my green sleeve one has more of a drape through the body, this black one with vibrant color accents is spandex fitted throughout the body. The sleeves are more fitted by underarm/shoulder so no gapping of fabric.I really love the feel of this rashguard top.Even though is more fitted, feels comforting like it's giving you a hug like yoga wear.Wore it in the day, in Florida, which is cooling down in Oct but still sunny and, no burn.Very easy to move in to do my water yoga & dried quickly. You should know, the forearm design is sewn in separately. So you will feel the seam against your arm, if that bothers you.Other than that, it was a keeper for me.

Versatile
This good-looking rash guard is versatile. It can be used outside at the pool, beach or at any outdoor activity where you would be getting lots of sun. The top is mostly black with an attractive raspberry, aqua and white stripe design across the chest and along the lower arms. The raglan sleeves and body are long enough and there is a little stand up collar around the neck. On a size Medium the back from the bottom of the collar to the hem measures approximately 21 1/4” and the sleeve from the bottom of the collar to the cuff is about 26 1/2”. It dries quickly and with 18% spandex in the fabric you get good freedom of movement. I received numerous compliments wearing this top.

looks cute
The swim shirt fits well and seems to be made well. It has good coverage. The sleeves are just the right length for me. The colors are bright and it looks nice and cheery. The fabric is heavy polyester/spandex. The neck is not too tight and it does not try to strangle me. I cannot say if has any spf protection as I only used it in indoor pool so far. It is not really as quick drying as nylon swimwear is, but it is not that bad. You will want to have a few changes so you do not want to put on wet suit if you want to go swimming more than once a day. There is no integrated cups or anything. The fabric is not see through, but you will see the outline.

Good sun/rash guard shirt
this is a really nice and well made shirt. I got it in a medium - I'm a 34D/DD (depending on bra brand) and mostly wear smalls in shirts/tops. I knew these are made to be tighter and the last sun/rash guard shirt I got in a small was a bit too snug in the chest. The medium fits me well. It's a little loose, but a small I think would be too tight - I also do a lot of strength training so my shoulders are fairly broad and arms are sculpted muscle. Anyway, the medium gives me enough room to be comfortable. And I like the colors on this, too. I'm not usually one to like too much design, but the solid sleeves set off the body design enough to make this a very nice looking top.

Bright and pretty!
I spend a lot of time on the water during the summer and fall and like shirts that have some SPF. I am not convinced that all of them have the chemicals to provide the SPF and I do not know that there is anything infused in this shirt. In any case, the chemical protection is often washed out by pool use and laundry soap. Often enough, just the color and the fabric is enough to provide protection from the sun. Loving the sun and being a little afraid of it makes an awkward relationship. Darker colors work well while they also provide more protection. Also an odd relationship. This fits well. I usually wear a size 16 shirt.
