The tubes are in 3 pieces and need some assembly.
Updating under gravel filter with new tubes and pump. Still a work in progress but is functioning very well!

These work great for under gravel filtering. We use 2 for our 75 gal tank. And they’re so clear that they blend easily into the background. We chose to put tall plants in front of them to create our scenery.

Arrived as described
I think it's overpriced for being molded plastic, the grids of where the air leaves have plastic excess from th molding process preventing air from releasing properly, I had to file the openings to get rid of the excess plastic and one had the top part of the grid missing, allowing small fish to enter the tube... not good.

A fine product, but perhaps a bit expensive for what it is.
This does exactly what it is supposed to do. I'm very happy that I could find a replacement uplift tube for an under gravel filter. I was given the plates for one for free, and it is made for 2 uplift tubes. So I just wish there would have been two uplift tubes in this package. I know what you are thinking, just buy another one. Well, this one uplift tube was around $5, and I think I saw a double package somewhere for around $7 or $8. But I could have got an entirely new under gravel filter system with 2 uplift tubes included for around $8 or $9. Which I didn't need, because as I said, I already had the plates. Besides, I only have a 10 gallon tank, so I'm sure just one tube is enough. None of this has anything to do with the quality of this product, it is perfectly fine. I just wish these replacement parts weren't so expensive, relative to a whole new under gravel filter.Update: Ordered another of these to go with a different penn plax brand undergavel filter. The way it connects to the plate doesn't work with that brand. I mean, you could probably make it work somehow. But it turns out I didn't need it because the ugf came with 2 tubes instead of 1 like I thought. I will keep this one around as a spare.
