Tori Amos for Easy Piano: Fourteen Classic Tori Amos Songs Arranged for Easy Piano with Full Lyrics and Chord Symbols

These pieces of sheet music are not bad, especially for those that have been made in easy format. Mostly singles here, with a few beloved album tracks and b-sides. my only complaint is that Cooling does not have the Brambles bridge, but all in all, it is a great book for beginners itchy to play some Tori. Even if you have a hard time with sheet music, you'll be able to play from this book.

Most of the arrangements in this book are decent. My favorite is "Mr. Zebra." I don't love all of the arrangements. It is probably because Tori is a genius composer and my talent isn't worthy. I can sight read music pretty well and am able to get through these songs. This book is too advanced for beginners but I recommend it for those who can sight read. It is just fun trying to play these songs. Long live Tori!

I wish there had been a preview of some of the sheet music so I could have seen what was meant by “easy.” Sure, it’s simplified from the original, but this is intermediate-to-advanced intermediate level.

okay, i dont actually have the book yet, but i plan to buy it.. i consider myself advanced beginner to moderate in terms of playing skill, so this should be a breeze, but the main reason i want to get it besides being a tori fan is because i cant site read, i only took piano lessons briefly, so if it gives the chords? i can do my own renditions to make it rhythmically closer to her actual recordings as she writes in many arpeggios and thats what i took to naturally with piano playing as well as write in :) with toris music especially in a song like little earthquakes, its difficult for me to hear the actual melody inside of the thick chords, so i look forward to learning and interpreting this song my own way <3 thank you tori!

I've been a Tori Amos fan ever since I was eleven and always wanted to be able to play her music, but her being the excellent musician she is, it was difficult for me to play out of her existing music books. The music isn't really easy, but it is manageable for all the fans with less musical expertise than she has, which is probobly the vast majority. I'm really glad she came out with this, because even more so than most musicians, her music needs to be simplified (but not dumbed down) for all her fans to play.

The only complaint I have with this compilation is that there aren't very many of her early songs in here. I wanted more songs from Little Earthquakes and less songs from her later works that I've never enjoyed as much.In any case, this is a great little book and is quite a challenge to beginning piano students but still stays relatively faithful to the original music, a hard thing to do when arranging music in an "easy" way. Money well spent on this one.

I was very disappointed in this product. The keys have been changed to make it "easier" I suppose, but the result is that the songs just sound wrong. I am a vocalist. I was looking for music to play while I sing and this isn't it!

Great book for pianists of any age that have not long started.You need to have a grip on the basics, as this is a Grade 2 book.If you love Tori but can't manage her extreme talent, this book will let you play some of her songs on a more basic level.

Ich habe 5 Jahre lang das Klavierspielen gelernt, dann aber ein paar Jahre nichts mehr getan wegen der Schule. Nun wollte ich mit diesem Heft wieder anfangen.Die oben genannten Songs sind in vereinfachter Version in Noten gefasst, einfacher als das, was wir bei Tori hören. Einige Teile sind ausgelassen, andere Notenspiele vereinfacht. Für jemanden, der sich noch als Anfänger einschätzt, ist es meiner Meinung nach eher noch zu schwer. Spielt man schon ein paar Jahre, hat man dabei weniger Schwierigkeiten. Meiner Meinung nach ist die Bezeichnung "For easy piano" hier eher unpassend. "Leicht" ist etwas anderes.Denen, die es ausprobieren möchten, wünsche ich aber viel Spass! Selbstgespielt sind die Songs nochmal so schön ;).
