DakineGrom 13L - Black

I tried on sooo many backpacks and researched for months before finally settling on this bag. I’m 5’ tall with a 15.5” torso, and this bag is a great size. I also like how sleek and streamlined it is, and doesn’t look like I have a 30 gallon trash bag on my back (like many other backpacks I tried. The multiple pockets are useful and the shoulder straps adjust from very snug to very loose. I’ve had the backpack a week and JUST today discovered that the chest strap has a secret sliding anchor point on each end, so you can slide it to the exact spot for comfort. Brilliant! I did not notice that feature in the description. Oh and the safety whistle is integrated into the side of the chest strap buckle. It’s super loud!

It’s 13L, that’s pretty small - I’d say about half the size of a traditional backpack. But for me, it’s perfect! Just needed a small gym back for phone, wallet, keys, earbud case, bottle and in the main pocket - boxing gloves! Yes there are full 16oz boxes gloves and hand wraps in the main compartment and they aren’t even stuffed in there - they fit perfectly. The ONLY change I wish for would be an organizer pocket inside the small front pocket as opposed to the cooler pocket that it has. But I use the sunglasses compartment for my ear bud case and keys. Wallet and phone can go in the cooler compartment or on the unused side of the bottle holder since there are two pockets. This backpack is also great as a small day back for walking around town instead of carrying a bunch of stuff in your pockets!

I'm a 5'11 male and although it is small it doesnt look childish at all in my opinion. Wear it on bike rides and it fits everything pretty good. And holds water bottles snug in the side pockets

I know this bag is supposed to be for kids, but it’s perfect as a smaller bag for adults too. Its perfect for my yoga mat! They should even advertise it as such! I love the little pockets as well!

i’m 6ft and was worried it’d be too small but it’s a good size to carry everyday things.

Did not state it was a kids back pack. Charged a restocking fee, which I feel is ridiculous. I paid to have it shipped back

Was really excited to get this backpack for my son when he starts school but when it arrived I only to realized it’s really small and would probably only fit a book or 2. It would be more of a toddler size.

Got package and it was torn apart and opened for my kids present and torn

A little smaller than expected but does the job well. The bottle pockets are a bit shallow, but adequate for a small drink.
