I was looking for a good quality summer shoe for our 4 year old son to play in. I don’t like Crocs or flip flops as they aren’t sturdy, and didn’t want to pay $50+ for more expensive brands. I was stuck between choosing this particular shoe and another similar one but ultimately went with this shoe because the front toe area is enclosed. I know from personal experience the summer shoes that have exposed toes are frustrating when you’re walking on mulch, which my child does regularly. So I chose these and I’m happy I did!I ordered his regular size 11 and they fit great. My son has a wide foot and this has comfortable room for him. The shoes are very adjustable because of the 2 different Velcro straps on the top and the back, and the style in the front where you can tighten or loosen the strings. If his foot grows some over the summer they should still fit because of the adjustable straps. The inside soles are not fabric which make them very quick to dry (already wore them playing in the water hose, left them out to dry and they were dry quickly). My son says they are comfortable and asks to wear them. I would recommend and buy again!

I like that the shoe has a closed toe box and is very adjustable (ankle, heel, and across the bridge of the foot). The down side is that my 7 year old pulled hard on the bungy cord adjuster and the tip that created the loop broke off. The bungy cord now is in two pieces and the tightening element can come off now. They still work, but I don't know if it will last.

These have been great for hiking where water play was on the agenda as well. They fit perfectly based off the scale. They are super easy to put on and they stay on well. Very affordable for how great they have been. The blue and red colors together are awesome.

Great quality product, great style, perfect for summer activities in the water and on land. Great for riding bikes and running around. Shoes are easy to get on and get off and the sizes are great, gives a little room to grow but not to much.

Bought three different colors of these shoes..my daughter said all of them are cute. She wears 10 but I bought 11s because of all the extra adjustments the shoes have, and it worked out PERFECT. I love the front and back straps and the added elastic adjuster in the front of the shoe. I thought the hanging piece from that elastic would be a pain if she was running around, but I actually just tuck it into the elastic right below it and it looks like the shoe was MEANT to be worn that way. I'm so glad I found these! They're much better than most close toe sandals I see in the department stores because these feel more like breathable RUNNING SHOES as opposed to "sandles". Also the inside is WATER PROOF material...not that fabric stuff that gets ruined after a few weeks, so we can literally take these on hikes, jumping through the splash pad, or crossing the river near our house. Just got three pairs for my son also. Order size up!
