when you need it, this is it and value for the money. Fit perfect in my B&W hitch after somebody needed mine more than I did.

Can be easily removed with the grab pin in the bottom of it. I think other manufacturers forgot this one simple little thing. How to get it out when it's put in with the ball facing down. But B&W knowing their product, they thought of this. Has a 3/16" roll pin in the bottom to grab ahold of. On a side note, bought my B&W slider about 3 years ago and installed in my pickup. It had never come out until the last couple of months when I needed to haul a gooseneck instead of the 5th wheel. Was worried about getting it out of the receiver in the bed of the pickup, no problem. Came out like a breeze. They make a great product. Well worth the money.

I used this to replace the OEM ball that was in my 2015 RAM 2500. This was a direct drop in replacement for my OEM hitch, no mods needed. Mine had large chips inside the bottom counterbore from drilling the latch pin cross bores when it was made. Do yourself a favor and knock these out with a screwdriver before you install it so they don’t bind up your latch pin.

I was a little weary ordering a B&W turnover ball for a factory 5th wheel setup. However it fit perfect with zero wiggle.
