Very effective when caring for someone with Alzheimer's
We got this so we could tell when my wife's mother was wandering into the kitchen. She has Alzheimer's. It has worked like a charm. It took a little trial and error to get a setting that we liked, but that was due to its sensitivity. We are very pleased.

Died In Less Than a Year
Much better than the sensors that only run on batteries. Given that this is what sets it apart from the competition, I'm surprised they don't include an AC/DC converter.Update 6-22-17: Worked fine for ten months, then died. Vendor didn't respond to warranty request.

This works pretty well but isn't what I thought it was
This works pretty well but isn't what I thought it was. There were absolutely no instructions so I had to use trial and error to figure it out. Finally, what I received doesn't look even remotely close to the item in the picture.
