This piece is great for hiking and camping- it makes it much easier to carry a full water bottle on long hikes either in the woods or the city. It clips on with the supplied carabiner, or you can hook it with the durable and comfortable paracord handle. It's a shame that it only fits wide mouth bottles, as I would like it on my smaller HydroFlask as well.It comes with great accessories- another bottle top with straw mouthpiece, 2 plastic straws, and a star-cleaning brush. Yes, the straws are too long for my bottle, but it's a universal size that needs to be trimmed to fit smaller ones.I received this product free for an unbiased review.

I bought this because I had already binged on a hydroflask and hadn't expected it to NOT come with a straw lid option. The handle was a bonus that I was looking forward to, and it's great! Applying it was a little difficult but once I got that bad boy on it was basically my bottles soulmate.As much as I love that part of my purchase, I cannot forgive the rest of it.Firstly; the fact that there were no directions included for any of the installations. Not the worst thing, but the seller had a little business card with their email on it so they could've added some directions too.But, my biggest beef, my absolute new pet peeve, is the sound the spout makes when I sip out of my bottle.It's as if someone had put a fishbowl over my head and then added three parrots. Then that person plucked feathers from the dastards every single time I wanted to quench my thirst.it's a HORRIBLE sound, and it's SO LOUD!!!!!And I've tried using the second plastic straw provided and it's exactly the same.....However, I'm not returning the product due to wanting to keep the straws, the cleaner, and the strap.I dunno, maybe I'm being a bit dramatic about how loud it is, but I can't use the straw because it grates on my nerves the same way I grate on my mom's.

Overall Great product that works just as you would expect. My only complaint is that the buckle on the paracord handle is NOT a firestarter as its advertised. Even so, I'd still buy it again. It's a really good value.

Works great. The only negative is that it doesn’t insulate at all so you lose that feature of the normal lid. Also you have to be careful because if you don’t have the ring pushed down really tightly, it doesn’t close completely and leaks.

When I received the item, I put it together and used it. It did not work, I was disappointed. The next day I emailed the company and I said they won’t email me back. To my surprise they emailed me right back in a matter of minutes. WOW! I was very happy, they were great communicating and they sent a brand new one right away. Great Customer Service! I will be buying more products from them. THANK YOU!!!

This lid fits perfect on my 40oz wide mouth Hydro Flask. This flip cap comes with two straws and the brush to clean the inside of the straws. The flip top is better than having to unscrew the top off every time I need a drink of water. Every time I unscrewed the top it would spill, especially while driving. It also come with a braided handle to hang your container onto a backpack, bicycle, etc.

I bought 2 & 1 didn't work but the one that does work is great. My son uses it on his & he really likes it.

Works great highly recommend ,use this for about 2 months now and it has held up .It does have a restricted flow when drinking but that is the cause of the anti leak design when the nozzle is in the open position. And the extra cleaning brush is a plus.
