Great fun in-house
I was a bit sceptical about this drone but the videos people left really helped - thank you.It is a really good, very affordable drone. I was completely new to operating one so had to learn everything from scratch. It's really easy once you try a few times. What were my findings?- It looks quite flimsy and fragile but it isn't. The plastic is really durable, it fell for me a few times from the ceiling all the way down, no problem at all. It's really light so doesn't really fall down heavy.- Installation and removing of the battery can be a slight problem. The connector is located in a place where some batteries (they can slightly differ in size) may get in the way. Also pulling the plug out can be a process sometimes as the connector is really small.- It's normally quite stable and can easily be steered but don't expect it to hover without any movement at all. It will sometimes very slightly go up or down or slide to the left, right, front or back (due to it being very light probably). Most of these issues you can sort by using the trimming buttons, but not all. I'm not 100% sure but it feels like some batteries seem to manage it better than others. Also it may start being a bit more difficult to steer at the end of battery life.- Give batteries one day. They really improve after some charging and then leaving them to rest overnight (not charging overnight). On my first day my skills weren't exactly there also the batteries seemed weak (they would go really quick, even after charging). The next day it seemed like a different set. Batteries would last nearly twice as long and the flight was much more stable.- At beginning it used to sometimes go up just after start in a quite uncontrolled way, glue itself to the ceiling and fall down after. It stopped doing that around 3rd day. It would only do that sometimes though.- Steering - you need to switch the drone first, then the controller. Then you need to pair it by simply moving left stick up and then down. Then you trim it by pushing and holding both sticks in SW direction.Initially I used the one start button but the drone would then go full engines and lift up quite quickly and quite high. I then learned that it's easier to start it from the ground. You do that by pushing left stick in SW and right stick in SE direction. Drone kicks off the engine on low power and then you just slightly push left stick up for a second and it lifts around 1 feet off the ground (requires a bit of practice). Also initially I used the right stick to steer it left/right but realised it's more natural to actually use left stick for turning the drone around and at the same time pushing right stick up or down to move forward/backward.- you can do some crazy manouvering, especially if you switch to higher speeds (push left stick in until it clicks). I do not recommend that on the first day.- I'm not sure what the right side button does? It doesn't seem to have an assignment in instructions but the drone makes a beep when you push it. Anyone?- Probably my only single gripe with this drone is the battery life. 5-7 mins goes so quick! At least you have 3 of them and charging doesn't take ages...For the price I'd recommend that drone to anyone, kids especially. It's a very good introduction to learning how a drone operates. Besides I cannot imagine anyone who wouldn't have fun using it! I got it for my niece but I wouldn't mind having one myself after 'testing' it!!!

Best Drone Ever with great control and stability
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I've had a few drones before but this one beats them all in - ease of flying, power, maneuvering, flying time, accessories, sturdyness and stability. My 8 yr old just loves it, he started doing flips with it in the first 5 minutes of unpacking.I thought it would feel tiny, but it's a mini beast with fun unlimited. The youtube reviews helped us a lot in making a decision to go for this drone.Below is from my son himself with specifics-There are 3 batteries and two chargers so you don't have to wait a long time. The one key return button doesn't really work well, it bashes into everything on it's way back. It works really well if it went straight for a very short distance. The flips are really fun to do but after you do a few the drone drifts away a lot. You can trim and calibrate it back though.Sometimes, headless mode gets confusing because it doesnn't really go where you wan't it to.My best Christmas present ever infact my best toy ever.

Brilliant beginner drone
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Absolutely fab drone - bought for my 5 year old as a birthday present thinking his dad would have to fly it for him, but within half an hour he was flying it himself! Well built and great battery life with the two spare batteries included too! ‘Best present ever’ apparently! #mumwin

Superb
I bought this as a step up from those tiny little drones that are almost impossible to control and wanted the kids (not me onbviously!) to be able to play with a cheaper drone to see if they could fly it well and also if they would get bored with it quickly and so I would save wasting £400+ on a more professional drone. In summary we all love this drone! Even my wife who can never to things like this as she has rubbish coordination and directions finding skills (I’m praying she doesn’t see this review!) was able to master flying this in 10mins with the kids just flying it almost instantly out of the box without reading the instructions.I came home and ‘educated’ the kids on the flips it could do and we soon had it flipping all over the place and turned up to max speed which the kids hadn’t realised that you could do.Having 3 batteries and 2 chargers is one of the most sensible things ever as you have 2 charging whilst one is flying in the drone and each child could have a while battery life for their turn which stopped arguments! We soon had a race course set up with obstacles starting upstairs and finishing in the kitchen with a certain number of required flips along the way and set about having timed races. With being stuck in the house due to Covid 19 this is a really fun drone to play with. We have not managed to break any of it yet and has not needed any spare parts. The worst thing to happen was my son decided to land it in his hair!Range in the garden is good and it fared well with light winds.Buying this drone has been a great idea and certainly now has us thinking of spending more on a bigger one but we will probably buy another one of these first so that we can have indoor races.I would say that for the money these are excellent and just get one and start having fun!
