TorexRadial Cryo Sleeves and Flat Packs, Hand/Wrist/Foot Sleeve

Works great...but it can be too cold for me. So i just have to leave it out for a bit. My elbows are 9.5 in in diam. So the small is a bit tight. Thant might be part of the too cold...

I was shocked by how cold this gets and how long it stays cold. I have spent hundreds of dollars on items to help my arthritic hands. I'm doing renovations on my house and at the end of the day, my hands are ruined. Most ice packs don't stay cold long enough and are difficult to cover all my entire hands. I got the smallest size and it is perfect. It is so soft and forms to your hand AND stays so cold. I am able to move from one hand to the other and it's still cold. It is still cold when it goes back in the freezer. I haven't tried the hot and I don't think I will. I will be recommending this to anyone who uses cold packs.

Certainly the coldest wrap I've ever come across, and it lasts the longest. I use it for a pretty nasty 'tennis elbow' condition. It secures fairly well; however, the gel, being gel, and gravity, being gravity, means the gel collects quickly around the bottom tip of the elbow rather than holding (wrapping) firm to the lateral epicondyle. This means I often have to repeatedly 'squeeze roll' the 'puddle' around and over to the top-side part where the inflammation happens. I suppose one product improvement would be to create a seam that would contain the gel in two separate(d) areas.This is annoying, but the intensity of the cold and the duration make it superior to other cooling methods that I've tried. I was keen on its heating possibilities, but I haven't mastered how to titrate our weak Ikea microwave with the company instructions on how to heat it.

I never really used a hot and cold gel stuff because i have those handy pouch where you pour water or ice inside that thermal bag thing but when I got this, oh my world changed for the better —- it is so convenient, just slip it right to my tennis elbow, i don’t have to hold it coz it fits right. It did wonders to my elbow and daily routine to ice it. This product a huge helpUPDATE: I have not used the torex for a month and to my horror, the whole product shrink and it wont roll out. WASTE OF MONEY.

It's a nice concept, works well while it lasts, but the seams are not very resistant and break away after a few uses, letting the gel escape.

Let me be clear - I love these Torex cold packs.Unfortunately, one of them broke and spilled on my carpet and I have no idea how to clean it up.I tried to contact Torex but their contact page will not work for me. I also sent them a message on Facebook but they never answered. Anyone have any idea how to clean this mess?

I did a lot of researching to find a good cold/hot pack to treat the tendonitis in my wrist. This one sounded intriguing and I am very glad I ordered it! The gel like consistency of this tube shaped pack makes it good for fitting around awkward joints, and it basically rolls on over your hand and onto your wrist or arm. The simple cloth sleeve provides some shielding from the cold. I especially like that it remains soft and flexible even when frozen. If there is any drawback at all, it is that it has some weight to it and has a tendency for gravity to want to pull it toward the bottom side of the pack. But this is not significant. This comes in a mylar like zip style bag so you can store it in the freezer easily. You do need to choose carefully on the sizing. The small was just right for my female wrist and arm, but would not do well for a muscular man.

From the pictures of this product it looks like it is an ice sleeve that you can slip your arm through and have on, however, that is not the case. It is simply a flat, square ice pack. I have to use an elbow wrap to keep it on. This is not what I was looking for. The sleeves to protect your skin from the direct coldness are good, and the packs are cold but it is a pain to have to use another wrap. Also, the packs are heavy so I have to sit down with them on and cannot move around freely.
