MACUNIN Bicycle Cycling Computer Multi Function Wireless Waterproof Bike Speedometer Odometer with 3'' Large LCD Display and Backlight (Backlight-Green)

Took the plunge and bought this computer. I have used many much more expesive ones but was intrigued by the huge display. So far, set up was relatively easy. Merely a bit of confusion with knowing what was being referenced on a few things during setup, as it was not mentioned in the directions, but I got it sorted out. Converted to MPH easily. Has preset tire sizes. The product description is good. Crazy list functions. All I really care about is MPH, time and Distance/Odometer. Odometer and MPH readings seems pretty accurate and line up with my other computers and people I ride with. Best thing is the display. It is huge. It is really nice being able to see my speed so large on the screen. Scrolling is pretty easy, even with all it's functions, and whatever function you're set on displays pretty large on the screen too. The backlight is really nice and easy to turn on AND off. Nice and bright. I did unfortunately get the oportunity to ride with it in the rain and it held up well. The mounts it comes with are a huge plus. I use the clamp on mount and it is rock solid. My similar Cateye Pardonne with mount cost me three time as much as this and has a smaller display. Reviews are sketchy as ... with regards to the reliability of computers so I took a chance on this one. If it lasts a year or more, which I believe it will, I'll be content. It is a nice unit and I plan to buy another for my other bike.

I like this little bike computer. There is a rolling option however.My only real complaint is the quality of the mounts. They are not terrible but they aren't great.The main bar mount clamp is too wide even with the included rubber tape so I had to improvise a bit to add another piece of rubber around the bar. No big deal.The way the computer clips into the mount - it's easy to think it is fully clipped in when it is not. It does not lock into place on its own when you push it into place. At least on both brackets I received, you need to forcefully press up on the latch to properly secure it and ensure it does not come off the mount.The mount for the transmitter - easy to mount using zip ties and uses a piece of rubber tape between it and the fork. However the tightening screw for it which allows the receiver to swing back and forth for positioning really does not tighten up fully. It's still easy to move the receiver which could cause it to accidentally be moved too close to the wheel. These are all plastic parts so trying to over tighten something like this would probably break it.***Overall - for the cost and design of this bike computer I'd definitely recommend it and would purchase it again. Improving the quality of the mounts is really the only area I took off for in the star rating.

Bike computer itself is great for those who would like a larger screen. It is easy to read, and it has all the options you could want, including time and temperature, as well as the usual suspects of average speed, max speed, etc. etc. The computer itself is great. However, the mount needs work. As others have mentioned, mine came off my bike and ended up in the road at least once on every ride, of which there were a total of three. On the third ride when it came off, the jacked-up 4 x 4 behind us managed to swerve just in time to crush it to oblivion. If they redesigned the mount to lock into place easier and more securely, they'd have a winner. As it is, I would still recommend this, but make sure you take additional steps to ensure it is secured to the bike. Duct tape? Possibly a zip tie? Something.

This bike computer has a lot of potential but I returned it after two rides. The wireless transmitter setup works great, so it is easy to install. There are two main issues, however:1. When riding at night and using the illumination, the batteries drain fast...at least according to the manual. I bought this computer specifically for night riding so that really turned me off. The batteries are not rechargeable.2. The mount is not very effective. I had this computer for two rides, on both rides the computer fell off when hitting some bumps in the road. The second time, it broke completely. Imagine riding at a high speed worried the whole time that the computer is going to fall off, it is dangerous.

I bought this for riding in the dark. This computer feels inexpensive - but it is inexpensive so I am not disappointed in that. The features are awesome, for the price, and the back lit screen far exceeded my expectations. The size of the screen and readouts are perfect for night riding. I really wanted this computer to work and tried several times to get there but the device would not stay on; very sporatic on and off. I would estimate that it turns off on its own about 30% of the time. I tried a second one and had the same results. I couldn't even get it to stay on while my bike was on the bike stand. No bumps or anything else. In addition, the accuracy was way off my standard bike computer, iphone, and Garmin watch. Those three devices are all fairly close to each other.

I should have gone with a name brand. I took a gamble on this bike computer and I lost.I like that the mount allows me to center the computer over the bike stem, but the clip that hold the display in place is too small and too weak. The computer has fallen off at least once on every ride. The last time it fell off as I dropped off a curb at an intersection. I turned around to get it, but I was too late, a car turned and ran it over.For the first 3-4 weeks it seemed to work well and was accurate. In the week before it was destroyed it wouldn't always come on with every ride.
