You are going to love love LOVE these chaps!! I have owned several pair over my years of riding and these by far, are the best design for women. We all know how weight can change, sometimes from one day to the next. The inner thigh expansion and extra zipper expansion are PERFECT. Size chart is dead on - so be sure to measure as they describe. Extra length is great - I recommend you don't cut until you have your regular riding boots on. Quality leather, stylish simple braid design, and nice wide waist belt make these top of the line compared to $200 for a pair of "HD Chaps". These chaps are made for the woman who rides her own bike. If you want 'sleek-sexy' calves - as one reviewer here did - these are not for you. Try leather pants instead. You won't regret buying these. I can see where all my riding gear will come from these folks in the future. Well done!

Perfect for curvy woman!! I am 5'5"..180 lbs.. 34 in waist 27" thighs. I wear a 16 in jeans so I ordered a size 16 for the chaps!! They fit perfect! The zipper on the back of the leg you can unzip and give yourself another 1.5 inches in the thigh. Some people had concerns about the zipper in the back rubbing your seat, I don't know about that. It did not seem to rub on my seat right now. I may just throw a sheepskin over my seat during cold weather and I won't have to worry about it! :-) I am perfectly happy with these.2-2021 - Update - Almost 10,000 miles later and these are holding up without an issue! Rain, sleet, cold wind! These are perfect!

I was SOOOOOOOO scared about ordering these because I'm a weird size and my measurements were saying I was an in between size so I sized up. The chaps fit GREAT around the waist and in the legs but I like other reviewers had issues with the lower part of the legs being EXTREMELY wide. I feel like I understand the why though, I think in their heads the thigh part is adjustable (with zipper on back) but they maybe didn't have a good way to make the bottom adjustable so they made it significantly bigger? I wore a pair of jeans AND boots under mine and I felt like I could still easily have had on another 3 layers but ONLY at the bottom. I think for the price they make sense so I can't complain too much BUT they were too long and way to wide :( Can you make these more accommodating for short people please!

First let me say that the design on the thigh of these chaps is pure GENIUS! That said, when I received these I was super disappointed to find that the rest of the leg went straight down off the thigh. They were extremely baggy around the rest of my leg (thigh down to my boot). This made no sense to me and I figured it must be a fluke so I emailed LeatherUps Customer service to ask if all of their chaps were made this way or if these in fact had just slipped by quality assurance. It took a week but they got back to me saying that I should check the size chart and measure it against my thigh. Um.....did they not read the part about how I LOVED THE FIT IN THE THIGH but was not happy with the bagginess in the lower leg and that I didn't want to reorder if this was how they were ALL MADE. I sent an email back explaining AGAIN that I didn't want to spend a bunch of money shipping returns back and forth if this was standard and again explaining the issue I had with the fit AND that I had reviewed the size chart before ordering. Another week later I received an emailed explaining that these were intended to be worn over jeans (Thanks, I was planning to wear them with my ass hanging out!) and that I should again check the size chart against my measurements. Needless to say, I thanked them for insulting my intelligence and am sadly sending them back. They could really use a lesson in customer service, I've been in customer service for over 20 years and am a business grad. Plus this isn't my first rodeo in chaps. Not once was there any attempt to correctly answer my question. I am very saddened, as I said, I LOVED the thigh on these. Best pair of chaps ever as far as the thigh went for a lady rider. If only I had calves the size of my thighs!

These chaps arrived quickly, and I am very pleased with the quality for the price. Other reviewers mentioned that they run large in the calves, whichis true, but I like that they don't restrict movement during shifting/braking, and leave plenty of room for my boots. They're pretty much a relaxed bootcut. Some had suggested ordering a size larger than jean size, but I think if I had done that, that the legs would have then been too loose in the calves. I ordered the same size as my jeans, (12), and they fit great through the waist and thigh. The buckle could be a little better, but if it was, theywould likely cost more. I wore them on a ride when it was 34 degrees F, and felt I had good protection from wind and temperature. The weight of theleather appears to sufficient to offer good protection if you go down on your bike, but was very supple.

Love these leathers! I am shorter with THICK thighs and these adjust so I feel comfortable and can actually get them on.Product tested in 42 degrees tonight, and thank goodness I had these on! Sizing is perfect, great product.

I’m on the short side (5’2”) and although these are long they were very easy to cut to size with good fabric scissors. Easily adjusted to fit in the waist. The extra stretch panel in the legs make it a great fit as well. They are true to fit by the measurements of your thigh. Highly recommended

I love these chaps they are very good quality and fit a woman's curvy figure. I have heavier thighs and buttocks so I have had difficulty finding chaps that fit. So excited to get these!!!! They do run small but the size chart is accurate so don't look for your normal size use the chart.
