These are SOMA Road Flares!
I own a set of the SOMA Road Flares, and they are super bright, use rechargable AAA Batteries, and are really high quality. They also look identical to these. I'm sure that these are made in the same factory in China as the SOMA ones I got.I have ridden in the rain, and not had problems with my SOMA lights, but I only commute 4 miles, each way, so maybe I'm not using them as intensely as the other reviewer. In my opinion the SOMA Road Flares (and these appear to be identical) are the best bar end light you can buy. You can purchase them on the SOMA website for $20, so these are overpriced.

Great - When they work
For the first two months I owned these bar end lights, I received a lot if positive feedback from those riding behind me. Comments like "man, those are bright", or "the lights are pretty easy to see" were common. Until the first time I used them on a rain ride. Both lights stopped working. I started the ride with them flashing, but after about 20 miles, I noticed they were on steady and getting dim. I couldn't even turn them off. They somehow shorted in the on position. The only way to turn them off is to remove the batteries. I left an email for Terra Bike, but have not received a response after two days, even though the verbiage said I will receive a response within 12 hours. There are less expensive options available if you want to take a chance. I liked the fact these ran on common AAA bateries, but if they're not going to work in the rain, what good are they? There is nothing on the packaging that says they must not be used in wet conditions, but the packaging does say they have a 1-year warranty. No further information is provided, so it looks like I'm SOL. Poor rating for the product and the seller at this point.

changed to 2 stars - does not work well in rainy weather
Nice, work nicely, visable but not bright. On off switch much better than other road compatible bar ends. This product works great except if it gets wet. When riding in the rain, it will often choose to turn itself on, then not change the setting. That can be annoying to the cyclist, but imagine the confusion to the car behind when one light is solid and the other blinking. My guess it is the switch design0

Both failed in damp weather.
Both appear to have shorted-out in damp weather. They are now always "on" and the switch has no effect.
