Campers Compact Cotton Hammock with Spreaders, Stripe (Random Color) 265lb Limit

I will start my review by saying that I did not read the fine print. I've never owned a hammock before and wanted to buy one as a gift. There are portable ones, ones that say they are for camping, some with carrying case or not, some with ropes or not, etc. I found an ad that says hammock with spreader bar and showed a man laying on a hammock on a steel stand. There were several colors to chose from. I chose a color and ordered and it arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I gave it to my husband and asked why he did not set it up to try it out. He said that it did not come with a stand. (It was not the color I remember clicking on to order either). When I pulled up my order so that I could contact Amazon it said, (1) will arrive in a random color chosen by seller, and (2) no stand included. Fast forward to today . . . I am trying to order a stand for the hammock for Fathers Day. There is none shown on Amazon for this product even though there is a stand in the picture. I called the company that manufactures it, Wilcor Outdoors. The customer rep, Lexi, informed me that they only sell ropes and not steel stands. So, I asked what size stand is compatible with this hammock. She said that she did not know but the hammock was 85" x 40". So, I asked if that was just the fabric or the ropes that come with it? I also asked if I need to order a stand that is so many inches larger than that to be able to stretch it across the stand. Wilcox Outdoors had NO idea what I needed even though they made the product. I asked for a supervisor. The customer service rep talked to her supervisor (who would not talk with me) and they told me to contact the person that I purchased the product from because they did not know what size stand I would need to purchase for their product. I am so frustrated that they seller displayed the product with a stand but then did not offer the stand as an option. I now have a hammock that may be useless IF I cannot find a stand that will be compatible with the hammock.
