I am so excited to this read this book. I bought both books; I’ve never been to Walt Disney World, but I’ve been to Disneyland. I’ve always been a believer in the Lord and God, and like most I’ve fallen from my path and the truth. As I’m coming back to my faith and to the Lord, I know I have to turn away from certain habits, people and entertainment. In my life I have came across some people who have shared their disapproving thoughts and feeling for anything Disney related and have even stated that it was bad. So like any person that has questions and doesn’t want to displease or upset the Lord they will pray. I prayed and asked that if this (Disney: parks, movies, etc) is something you want me to give up and stay away from, I will give them up and turn away from them. Not to long after I prayed, couple of days maybe, I stumble across these books. I was shocked, surprised and excited. But then I felt like it was almost to good to be true. So I read the comments and it seems like everyone has a good review stating there’s no false teachings, it’s a great family book. So I had to look up the author and what got me to not only want to read the books but to buy them also is that the author is a devoted Christian man who is active in his church and wants to spread the same message from the Lord that he did with his family; and share it with others who need to hear or in this case read it. The Lord works in many ways and will call and reach out to you in any way possible that is good. He will use anything he finds pleasing and good to call out your name and grab your attention. If you seek Him, you will find Him in anything as long as it’s good in his eyes. It doesn’t matter what it is. If it’s honorable to Him it’s one of his many tools to reach you.

I purchased this for my father for Father's Day. He has been a huge Disney fan since he was a little kid watching Annette Funicello in the original Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He became a pastor in the early'70's. He would take us to Walt Disney World often as kids, and we would joke that he should have a church at Disney--the house of the mouse. So when I saw this, I knew it was the perfect Father's Day gift for him. He absolutely loved it and could not put it down. I highly suggest this! ❤️

When the Power went out for the majority of people in the Pacific Northwest this past week, it became the perfect opportunity to start this series of Devotionals. I'm a big Disney nerd in general and because of Covid I haven't been able to really connect with my church family, so this was really tailor made for me to keep my spirits up & faith in tact. But besides all of those things, the detail and delivery this author brings its as if I'm at the Florida park with him & his family; and that's the feeling I hope everyone gets out of this read. Highly recommend it!

If you are looking for a devotional book for your family, your search ends with the fantastic book! This is a book that combines a magical and spiritual journey. I have been to Disney World 7 times since my childhood and I thought I knew a lot about the four theme parks until I opened this masterpiece. This book is filled with factual descriptions of every ride and show and the author makes a Biblical connection with the theme of Heaven from beginning to end. I literally could not put the book down because written within these pages is a guide to a personal walk with God along with bringing out the child within that was Walt Disney's dream. Disney World is "The Happiest Place on Earth" and joining the author on this journey makes me look forward to the Happiest Place that Ever Existed.....Heaven!

This is such an a amazing idea! I bought this for my Disney fanatic dad for Father’s Day. I briefly looked through the book and it’s written from the point of view of a tour guide. It gives brief histories or facts about each attraction/ride starting with the front gate and ties them into a devotional for the day. They are short and sweet and are perfect for family devotions. Kids will be able to connect the ideas and Biblical principals when they see their favorite rides and ultimately that’s what is important. I will definitely be purchasing the second one for him!

My wife is a self professed “devotional aficionado” & this was one of her favorite devotionals of all! We have all three of the Disney devotionals, and look forward to more books written by Albert Thweatt. He did an awesome job relating Disney rides & attractions to scriptures. This book is one that people of all ages will enjoy! Our family highly recommends this book as well as the other two Disney Devotionals by Albert Thweatt.

We love Disney World as a family but can’t afford to go often. I’ve also sometimes struggled with how to link my two greatest loves - God and Disney in a way that isn’t making an idol out of Disney. This book is AMAZING as it does what I couldn’t. It takes a love of WDW and Connects it to true spiritual principles and provides biblical passages for us to focus on. We look forward to family devotional time now and for all the right reasons.

I have been reading these devotional s for about 2 months now and I absolutely love them! The connections to the Disney parks make this book so unique compared to other devotional books, great for any Disney fan!

Being a Disney fan I like the way bible is worked into Disney Parks.
