Better than Expected for DIY Irrigation Projects!
Purchased these to cut PVC piping for DIY irrigation projects after my last set broke and have been very pleased with its performance thus far!Compared to my last set, which was a standard cheap model, the feel and action of the tool is much more solid and smooth, even the grip doesn’t move around thanks to the thickness of the steel exterior and bolts used to hold it together! The blade arrived sharp and cuts through PVC considerably easier than my last pair ever did! The largest PVC diameter I use is (1.5”D) and with this tool I feel little soreness even after cutting through dozens of these pipes; cutting PVC (1”D) or lower is simply a breeze!Absolutely worth the upgrade for anyone who does a lot of PVC cutting!

Impressive!!!
I already wrote a 5 star review on this pipe cutter on 2" pipe. I then had a sprinkler project that needed attention. Decided to make a bigger hole and box for a sprinkler solenoid. Ran into some hard-to-get-to hardwood roots up to 1.5+ inches thick running the length of the pipes. Just wanted to share, cut through them like butter with easy ratcheting!!!! Amazing tool. Not sure if it was made for this but, did a fantastic job!!!

Worked great.
Worked great, smooth easy cuts. Used it to cut 1 1/2 PVC 40 pipe for my Sump pump. Easy to operate and sliced thru pipe with ease. Initially I didn't think this thing was going to cut thru, but once it bit into pipe, the ratcheting mechanism was smooth and ease. Good product!

A Good and Sturdy Cutter
The only problem I had is that the cut tended to be slightly off square. I inserted a thin washer in the blade shaft to help straighten it. I have used it to cut 3/4" PVC pipe and thick walled plastic tubing. It cuts very well with one-handed force. I would like to find a good source for a future blade replacement. I think the cutter will be good for many years.

Great cutters and work perfectly
Work perfectly and cut my 1/2" and 1" pvc sprinkler pipe with ease. Hopefully they last as they are built pretty cheaply, but for the price I can't complain.

Convenient but could be better.
Easy to use, and much better than using a saw. The blade is thinner than some others I've seen, and deflects during use, causing the cut to not be square.

Wow!
I’ve never used one of these before but I’m making a tool for my ceramics and gave this tool a try and I’m so impressed! It rachets around the pvc and slices it quite easily, I figured it would cut the pipes easily enough when the pipes were cut in half, I was wondering how it would work if I just needed to slice a piece off and it worked perfectly. I’m not at all afraid to make cuts in pipes now! Great tool!!

Very Sharp and Easy to use!
Product was great for what I needed it for. I was cutting down 1/2" furniture grade pvc to build a display and it was like cutting through butter with these cutters. Doesn't hurt your hands like the store bought ones from those big depot stores.
