Poor quality at an exorbitant price
The chocolate arrived with a powdery white coating, an indication that it was old. I contacted the the distributor, the chocolate is repackaged in New Jersey with no mention of its source. They agreed to refund my purchase and offered a long winded excuse as to why the chocolate appeared old; claiming the chocolate could have rubbed against the packaging, or perhaps melted a bit causing crystallization in shipment. It’s mid-winter in Connecticut and the temperature hasn’t been above freezing in over a week when the product was shipped. Perhaps the chocolate has a very low melting point. In any event, the chocolate is not appreciably better than common supermarket chocolate chips.

Great taste
This is honestly probably some of the best chocolate for melting and baking and cooking with that I have ever been able to get my hands on it’s really good, good quality.

I’ve been using these for years, mostly to do our homemade chocolate truffles during the holiday season. They are better in taste and smoothness than any other I’ve tried! If chocolate matters to you, this is what you want to use.
