Bought darker grey & light grey. Dark Gray Smells bad.
I suppose it might be the sizer or extra color dye that is behind the dark grey smelling so bad. Washing in front load with no scent mild detergent with a second quick rinse did not change the smell. OH DEAR because I bought to use both in a Class B+ RV one for me the light one and the dark for company or second sleeper. I don't want a guest or my husband or who ever that second sleeper getting stuck with that horrid smell. I'm more sensitive than some so my husband might not notice but I wouldn't take a chance with any of my gal friends along for a weekend of outdoor fresh air. Come night not so fresh. I'll laundry a couple more times in hopes it works it's way out The lighter color of grey by the way is not much grey as almost more light grey tan note to it. It's fine it is for a camper but still? My color scheme throughout the camper to avoid doing any fancy updates is silver medium to light greys with lemon yellow splashes of color here and there. So the fleece covers will be in yellow and golds and I'm making flip pillows where one side is shaggy medium solid grey the other a lovely soft shaggy yellow. The slip covers or shams for pillows are a soft yellow one side and darker grey on a few and lighter grey on others made of short pile quality fleece. I'm adding grey cotton sheets for the sleep sheet and then these blankets to help keep one cool if it's hot and muggy but provide the fleece blankets even comforters for chilly cooler times camping. Overall these have a lovely feel to them and though some people claim they pull their body hairs and irritate face whiskers and even peach fuzz I didn't feel that as I tested out the lighter grey blanket after washing it too. They washed fine. I did dry on a clothes line because I didn't want to use any fabric softener or worry my drier sheets had built up in the drier and could effect the cooling properties of this blanket weave at all. Due to our hard water they were a bit stiff but softened right up once in use.

This blanket is simply amazing.
I am unsure if it's all in my head, but I feel like the last 5 nights of using this blanket has improved my quality of sleep by a factor of 10. I used to wake up in the mornings hot, somewhat sweaty, and dragging myself out of bed when my alarm goes off. However, these past few nights I have woken up well before my alarm clock feeling more rested than I think I ever have.I loved this blanket so much, that I bought two more for my wife and daughter. They seem to be having a similar experience with it, so I think it does seem to be effective. They both sleep with comforters over the top of it and seem to be okay, but I sleep with just the blanket. I wake up cool but not cold, which I have never experienced before in my life. It is an interesting feeling, but I am loving it.A note on washing: Before I bought this blanket, I saw some reviews saying how it frayed in the wash or something, and how it stunk. Well it says on the package that it needs to be washed on first use and even includes a little laundry bag to clean it. Here is the process I used to clean all of our blankets and had no problems whatsoever.1.) Put the blanket in the laundry bag and close the drawstring.2.) Put your washer on a gentle cycle on cold, then add whatever detergent you prefer.3.) Put the bag in the washer up against the side.4.) Let the washer do it's thing until it's finished.5.) In my experience, the bag and blanket were still sopping wet and even caused my washer to rock a little bit. If this happens to you, I recommend stopping the washer, pulling the blanket out of the bag and wrap it around on the outside of the drum. Toss the bag on the other side too.6.) Then run your rinse/spin cycle if still soapy, or just a drain/spin cycle if only sopping wet.7.) After it's spun out, I put it in the dryer for two 60 minute cycles on low heat. I tried to tumble dry like recommended, but it never got dry enough. As I said, I ran through this process for all three blankets and they came out just fine.Hope this helps, and I highly recommend!

I guess what you would expect.
The blanket arrived on time and came in the size ordered (queen). The fabric feels nice but is much thinner than you would expect. For the most part it could pass as a bed sheet that breathes better. I bought it because the upper floors of my house holds the heat from the day fairly well. At first the blanket didn't seem to do much until the house started to cool off. That said, it would seem that this blanket is not so much a cool you off blanket but a item that gives you the feeling of being covered. If the room is hot you'll be hot, if the room is cold you'll be cold. Depending on your setup, that's not a bad thing. In summation, this is a nice bedsheet that breathes well.I would recommend this item for anyone that JUST wants the feeling of being covered so they can sleep.

Real Nice Blanket
Well I really like the Blanket, I don't know what happen.. I got the package and set it on my dresser for a couple of days, then opened it and set it aside on the dresser again. The next day when i got home from work I washed my sheets and then put the blanket on the bed. Well to my surprise there are 4 holes in it. One is fairly big the other three are about an inch long. The package was fine no holes in it, but since I had it sitting on my dresser for a couple of days, I can't say who is at fault. So I will live with it. It is a very nice blanket. No sure but might just buy another one although I have not made up my mind yet.

First impression
I just got this blanket yesterday and wanted to address the negative reviews I read. It smelled horrible when I opened it so immediately put it in the washer on hand wash cycle. I tossed it in the dryer on low heat for 10 minutes then took it out and layed it out to finish drying. After 4 hours I checked on it and it was dry. It did not shrink, barely left lint in the dryer filter and felt nice and cool. I do live in a climate. Not sure how others are having trouble with it. If I do have problems with it in the future, I will come back and update.

Comfortable and Light
This product is a little expensive but works wonders for the target audience. It is lightweight and easy to carry and lives upto its name and hype. If you are used to heavy blankets, then maybe this won't help you but otherwise it is an amazing deal.
