Rocket DogWomen's Rainy Rubber Rain Boot

I bought these shoes because I live in Rainy Seattle and wanted something waterproof, comfortable, with some grip and some style. I made the right choice. This is the third pair of shoes I’ve bought from Rocket Dog and I LOVE them all.

Style ✔️. Comfort ✔️. Fit ✔️. Price ✔️. I love everything about this boot. It’s not too heavy, it’s cute and comfortable. The forecast predicted intermittent thunderstorms for our outdoor event and I didn’t want to be soggy wet all day. These rain books were a blessing. I wore them an entire day (10 hours) on my feet without any pain from my feet, legs or back. I highly recommend.

First, let me say these are SUPER cute. I immediately fell in love with them when I opened the box. Putting my foot in it was a different story. Even with narrow, skinny feet, I had the same struggles others mention because the entry is VERY tight. I guess this aids in the waterproofing. Once on, they fit well and I was able to tighten the laces to get a snug fit. The cut of the tongue did cause rubbing after about 10 minutes of the first wear. I fixed this by folding my sock down to crest padding. I used them to hike a volcano in Costa Rica and don’t recommend lol. They are not for “off roading.” The sole is thin so I felt many of the rocks and my feet slid around quite a bit with the decline. On the plus side, the quality was amazing. No tears or damage after hiking miles on lava rock. It rained and I stomped through puddles with no issues. My socks were damp but that was because of the lack of airflow. Overall, I recommend for a rain boot but not for heavy hiking on rocky surfaces. Stick to the paved areas. Hopefully the shoe entry will loosen a bit over time and become easier. Annoying but not a deal breaker.

Comfortable, slip resistant, stylish and affordable. These rain boot are reliable and lightweight.

I originally tried these in my regular size but they were pretty big and one of the rivets was missing from the top laces so I went down a half size and that worked. Luckily the half smaller had everything put together well and fit much better. I how they have a casual shoe look as well and due to the material should do well on very rainy days.My first order was delivered outside my door rather than in the secure bin and were stolen. Just a caution to buyers hopefully your delivery peoples are following your instructions.

I have now purchased 3 different pairs of these same boots, in the past 14 months. They fit very well and are comfortable to wear. They do a pretty decent job keeping my feet dry.However the rubber they are made out of eventually (but relatively quickly considering how many pairs I’ve had now) cracks in the areas you bend your feet. In addition to cracking the holes for the laces, although appear to be reinforced, do not do well for lacing much. They stretch and the metal part pops out and then eventually the stretched hole becomes a torn hole and you have to skip that one in the tie up process.I would say these are fine to use as occasional rain boots. They however will not hold up to much more than occasional unfortunately.

As you would expect with them being made of rubber, getting them on is a bit of a challenge, but they are lined with a soft fleece type of material. If you are going to be in cold weather, be sure to use insulated layers, because they aren't built for snow.

I am SO glad I decided to buy these boots. I work in a greenhouse and these boots are super comfortable, keeps me insulated and dry, AND!! they look killer.I’m a huge fan!

Las botas son cómodas y ligeras, al caminar se sienten como zapatos cerrados regulares. A pesar de que tienen cordones, las botas no permiten la entrada de agua hasta la mitad de la lengüeta porque están selladas hasta ese nivel.Respecto a la talla, yo pedí la misma talla que uso para cualquier tipo de zapato y me quedaron bien, no fue necesario pedir talla más chica o más grande. Aunque la entrada de la bota es un poco pequeña, después de varios usos se amolda bien para meter el pie.

I really like the look and feel of these boots. Quality seems fine so far. Size 7.5 / 38 was perfect. Enough room in the front for Morton Neuroma's condition. I will buy insoles, just to make sure my feet stay healthy and supported as I walk 3x/day for 1hr with the dog.
