Sabbra Cadabra Clone
Pretty wild pedal. The only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is the volume dropoff when the Level or Scoop controls are anywhere under 12 o'clock. Other than that it's pretty much a clone of a Catalinbread Sabbra Cadabra, the "Sabbath in a Box" pedal (which itself is a Rangemaster clone). It emulates a treble booster pedal running into a Laney amp, which was Tony Iommi's setup. So no, this isn't exactly a "fuzz" pedal, but more of a fuzzy overdrive with extensive tone control. The company who makes this, Nux, has another pedal labeled as an OD and it's the exact same pedal; color, markings, controls...just no Twinote branding. This pedal sounds great with a downtuned guitar. I ran it into my amp with the cleanest Clean channel, which is a Fender Champion 40, and played with a Gibson Firebird in C Standard. Then I used my 1999 Fender Telecaster in Standard. It turned the Firebird into a fire-breathing monster from Hell. One tip; this pedal will sound best if you don't have your volume and tone controls on your guitar cranked all the way open. Give yourself a bit of room for the pedal and the amp to do their thing and you'll have better results. I had my volume at about 95% and my tone at 75% (on my guitar) and for me that yielded the best results. YMMV depending on your setup but I can honestly say this pedal is a solid purchase, especially since a Sabbra Cadabra costs upwards of $200.

I wish all cheap Pedals were this good
I never give 5 stars. This pedal is a heavy metal beast of an Overdrive/Distortion, or it’s a Fuzzy 60ish Blues Driver. Read about how to effectively use Fuzz Pedals 1st. The pedal is loud, roll back your volume to a quiet bluesy setting or turn it up and melt the paint off your walls. Instant sustain, nice buzzing fuzzy OD. I’m not sure how well it’s built, but as it lasts it’s easily a quality sound for the price of a Pizza.
