This mix is disgusting it has so much salt init it tastes like see water you an see the amount of salt init rank rank rank also turned up with the tub broken

I'm a little disappointed with this spice. I had hoped it was going to be comparable to the finer spice mix I used in Morocco. This mix is very rough and I think I will have to grind it more to use it as a rub or in a tagine. In addition it does not have that wonderful unique Ras El Hanout fragrance, there is too much of an Indian Madras dominance..I think I will have to go back to making my own mix.... or go back to Morocco

Okay, i have been a fan of Nature Kitchen products for several years - ever since I was a regular customer at their physical shop in my home town of St Austell. Their spice blends have always been excellent. Smokey Bean Seasoning is my favourite spice as I use a lot of dried beans in my cooking rather than canned ones and this very mild but ultra smokey blend is the best accompaniment to put in a home-made sauce for your beans you will find. It starts subtle and grows - but not in 'true' spice heat, it is gentle and warming [add a pinch of cayenne if you want to up the heat]. and it is also an excellent 'dry rub' for flavouring up steaks for the BBQ, goes great with chicken or some fatty pork chops. Frankly when it comes to pork in particular this blend is sublime and a perfect compliment.I had no idea they were now selling on Amazon as I thought they closed down when the shop closed! Delighted to find them again after a couple of years. Natures Kitchen is THE best 'fresh spice blend' supplier going. I am going to be placing a good many orders now to rebuild a spice cupboard that became empty without this wonderful tangy 'old friend' of a proper 'spice merchant' to fill it.Smokey Bean Seasoning though is my favourite 'mild' spice blend....EVER. It's not just for beans, wonderfully versatile.HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN!

This is exactly what it claims, a good quality dried whole spice, at the weight advertised and delivered well within the timescale claimed by the seller. 'Fresh' - well as fresh as a dried spice can ever be - and fragrant. Dry enough to crush and grind in a pestle and mortar and not so 'oily' that it clogs equipment but 'oily' enough to be effectively what is claimed and suitable for home spicing. Fragrant enough and with enough volatile oil present to be used 'whole' too.I'll happily buy from this seller again.

The reviews of lemongrass powder claimed that this was more potent than fresh lemongrass so we bought a 400g tub as we do a lot of Thai cooking. What a waste of money. There is no taste of lemon. Even when boiling for 5 minutes the overriding flavour and smell is just of fresh grass! No lemongrass flavour at all. I wonder whether the stock was old or had been stored incorrectly before being shipped to us. It had a bbd of December 2022 so either that was a lie or someone has swapped the product somewhere.

These are the best chipotle flakes, the taste is superb and spot on.Supplied in a resealable tub I'm sprinkling them on everything.Some great surprises too - try them in a jam sandwich - yum!

There was some trouble with my delivery and the tub arrived with the seal broken and some of it spilt into the box. She was very quick to reply and immediately sent out a new tub to replace the broken one. Just wonderful service.And WOW. The blend of spices and flavours is HEAVENLY. I absolutely love using ras-el-hanout in my cooking and have used it a lot. This is the first time I’ve used Nature’s Kitchen for sourcing it, and and the difference in quality is very noticeable. This is just so much richer in flavours. I’ll definitely be sourcing it here from now on. And also looking forward to trying some of their other spice blends!

700g tub of Pilau Rice Seasoning. All the spices except the bay leaves have been ground to a fine powder (rather than individual spices as shown in the main product image). This will enable it to be used as a rub, but, means you don't get the same variation of flavours as you would with a coarse spice mix. That said, it has a good flavour when added to rice and is excellent value for the price.
