HUGE MONEY SAVER BUT NOT AN EASY FIX
What should have taken me 20 mins took nearly 3 HOURS. The Quality of parts looks great. Very close to identical. The instructions are HORRIBLE.. BLURRY PRINT. and missing the most important part (THE SPRING AND HOW TO ACTUALLY ATTACH AND WIND UP). LUCKILY YOUTUBE was there. For me, I could NOT swap over the KEY part in it's entirety as there are differences in sizes.. The spring and ALL the mechanisms for it are a SLIGHTLY different size so nothing on the original key will actually work.. Even the metal push-button for the release of the key is SMALLER than the original so won't work. The ONLY alternative is to pop out the pin and replace the original cut key with the blank (again not in instructions). However, even THAT didn't work for me because the SLOT cut into the original key where the pin slides into and stops the key from coming out, didn't line up. I had to use a drill bit to drill the slot bigger.THEN it worked.. ALMOST.. Now comes time to WIND the spring... Instructions are HORRIBLE for this. It says to attach and rotate the entire plastic cover around.. it's MUCH easier to just rotate the KEY itself otherwise you deal with the circuit board wanting to come out and parts popping out...

Is a great match to the original, but spring for flip key is weak!
We took the case and the old remote to the local Ace Hardware because they told us they could replace the guts of the original key fob into the new one. They would also cut the new key for us. Even they had one heck of a time trying to get everything open and put back together. It was a pain in the ass. Looks great. Works good for the most part but the spring for the flip key is really weak and certainly not as good as the original. kind of annoying, but better than paying the dealer $350.00!

Better than buying a whole new fob
Great case! My fob was falling apart. Buttons coming out. wrapped it with electrical tape to keep it together. only made it worse.I successfully replaced the original case with this one. It was a little difficult though. I had to remove the keyblade from the original hinge/button. Hardest part was getting the original case open with out destroying the circuit board. I would recommend this to anyone looking to replace a mangled fob. Just know that it's probably gonna be bit of a pain in the butt.

The key flip button was not correct.
The key case fit my key and remote well but the button was wrong. The button that flips the key has 3 small tabs on it but on this one they were not aligned properly with the factory key. I had to trim the button to make it fit and as a result the key does not lock in the closed position and will usually flip open in my pocket. The rest of the key works well and does what I need it to but I did lose the flip function and it was rather difficult to get it put together and I blame GM for making the factory key so hard to take apart.

Almost perfect
This is almost a perfect match for the original 2011 chevy cruze key. The inside where the button goes is cut different so the old pieces won't fit. The rubber around the buttons is a lot thinner than the original key so I'm not sure how long it will last. But for the price it's not a bad deal. The new chevy symbol is a sticker but I like the fact it uses a screw to help hold the body together where the original does not.

Replacement
Good replacement for my original which the buttons were gone. The only thing is no one will cut the blank key because I didn't by it from them. With a little work I managed to swap cut key and blank.

Not easy to install but worth it
Make sure you're mechanically inclined to install these. They work well and revived my worn out keyfob. This is made in China and not OEM so you will have to push the PIN out to release the key of the metal arm on the fob. You cannot use the oem one unless you want the switch button to sink into the fob. Look for Google guides to help with install. I used a watch kit to separate the key, then a hammer to push the OEM pin through the hole that connects the key to the arm. The rest should be in the included instructions. Good luck!

Will not fit and needed some thinking.
The flat key part is riveted to an oval metal part on your original . This oval part WILL NOT FIT on the new casing. The grooves have a small difference enough to make it impossible to fit . After a couple of hours one solution : pop out the rivet on the original key in order to get the flat part out.Make the same thing on the same part on the new casing as shown . Then secure the original flat part on the oval metal part of the new casing and secure it . Believe me I tried. The solution took 5 minutes. Sending it back was not a solution since the problem might have been the same .

You have to be handy!!!
Everything is good except you can't just switch key. You need to knock out pin that holds the straight part of the key and take it out of old hinge install on to new hing. A few files with a metal file will allow you to install pin back in. After that it works perfect. I was missing an emblem on 1 out of the 3 I ordered. I would recommend watching a few YouTube videos. It's not as hard as it looks but you need extra tools.

Perfect……but
Case is perfect. But you’ll need to transfer key blade. In order to do that you’ll need to carefully press/punch out roll pin and re-assemble. Tried to transfer entire metal portion but slightly different (I’m guessing to get around patent of OEM design). You’ll need to clock the spring which was the trickiest part. But it’s all back together and working perfectly.

Not for 2014 Cruze
Despite the 2014 Cruze being listed as compatible on this item’s description, it absolutely is not. The lock button configurations for trunk are completely different and hence you cannot use the trunk button. the physical key mechanism is different than og and therefore incompatible.

Worked great to repair a broken key
My switchblade key had broken off the fob, this replacement was used to repair it. Works and looks like a new key!I had to literally destroy the old key to remove the electronics, but everything fit nicely and works perfectly.
