STOCKEEZ Compression Socks Sock Aid Easy on Medical Assistance Sock Helper Slider Device Kit for Senior, Pregnant, Recovering from Hip and Knee Surgery- No Bending No Pain for Men and Women

I bought this for my 86 year old mother. Her ankles are very large and she has trouble reaching her feet. It seems her heal would get hung up on the back side of this device, and she was unable to put on her compression knee highs using it without assistance from me. Plus it doesn't come with a shoehorn to remove the stockings. It was sturdy and well made but not as easy as the video leads you to believe. Perhaps if they showed someone who really needed this device it would be more helpful. I'm returning it because I she can not use it without assistance and I am not here in the morning to help.

The description states - "Compression Socks Sock Aid Easy on Medical Assistance Sock Helper" and so obviously, I thought it would help me get compression socks on my feet. But no - this device is not helpful in pulling on compression socks.Just figuring out how this product actually works was a little difficult. My D-I-L is a nurse and so I asked for her help, thinking she had used similar devices before. Even she had difficulty but was finally able to get a compression sock on it and put it on her foot. I can't get the top of the sock around the sock holder. Nor can I pull the sock up far enough. I was looking for something that could help with pulling on compression socks but this isn't ideal. In the description, it says it will assist with putting on compression socks. It didn't help me at all. I've missed the window for returning and so now I have a device sitting around that is useless. My fault I missed the cut-off for the return though.

This had to be returned as it was too small and would not hold the stocking to get it on the foot. Caused more frustration than help. I'm happy for small people who figured it out. One was purchased for my handicapped daughter and it couldn't be worked for her, either. I just can't recommend trying it, and I am easy to get along with, usually.
