G Fuel Snow Cone Tub (40 Servings) Elite Energy and Endurance Formula

This is my first ever G-Fuel. I bought the tub as I needed some energy for a few anticipated weeks worth of late nights and long days working and I cannot abide the taste of more conventional energy drinks.Upon opening the tub, the first thing you will notice is the incredibly powerful, acrid, highly unpleasant smell. It smells almost exactly like a mix of fire ashes and burning plastic with some sweetness added. However, if mixed thoroughly in the correct quantity, it's actually quite nice and it certainly is a flavour that is reminiscent of blue ice cones.I've noticed that a lot of reviews say that the taste is too sweet and overpowering. I think this may be due to the fact that the included scoop has a detachable funnel for pouring into narrow-topped bottles. It isn't at all communicated well that this part of the scoop is detachable, so I would imagine a fair amount of people have filled up the scoop including the funnel, presuming this to be a serving, when in fact the funnel almost doubles the capacity of the scoop - take it off and fill the bottom part only, and I find that it's only marginally stronger than an average glass of squash and tastes fairly pleasant. For optimal taste, I recommend actually only using slightly less than a full scoop (4/5ths), as slightly reducing the serving I find actually eliminates any powdery aftertaste.All in all, when dosed properly, it tastes quite nice and I would say it gives as much energy as maybe 1-2 strong coffees. Probably quite overpriced for what you get, but it seems decent quality and I would consider purchasing again.

Not my favourite flavour from Gfuel but it is nice, tastes like a snow cone and it's a lot easier ordering off Amazon than buying directly off Gfuel if you're from the UK. I do get a slight energy boost from this one but there are other flavours that personally give me more energy.

I wouldn't say that this flavour is the best one but it's definitely good, value for money is always great with GFuel, better flavours out there but worth a buy if other flavours aren't in stock.
