Great Rice Cooker made by LG
This is a great rice cooker. I looked at a few different options including units made by National and Tiger. This one is produced by LG. It has Korean writing along with English on the function buttons. It also has a large display and the fuzzy logic functions seem to be exactly the same as a Japanese rice cooker. This unit comes with a sturdy power cable, measuring cup, vegetable steaming tray, rice paddle and soup spoon. The price was about $15.00 less than the two Japanese versions I looked at. Now Costco carries the Tiger 5.5 for about the same price. I can't complain about this unit. It looks nice, has a clock and the same functions with a large display. The rice tastes great, makes great sticky rice on quick mode (20 min) or standard white rice cooking (50 minutes). It also beeps when it has switched to warm mode. The bowl is removable for cleaning but the lid must be wiped down. Other RCs have a removable inner lid. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who cooks rice on a regular basis.

Best thing I've bought all year
This rice cooker is probably the nicest thing I own. I've always had a rice cooker, and after moving out on my own, I realized I would need one. I wanted to splurge a little bit, and it was worth it! the rice comes out really nice and fluffy every time, and the keep warm setting does not burn the rice or overheat it! its well worth the price. it also has a cute little rice ladle handle so you can keep it right there with your cooker! The only reason complaint I have is that you cannot cook rice and steam food at the same time, but that's such a small thing that its pretty un-important.

Awesome. My boyfriend loves to cook. He can cook anything! Anything but rice that is. ^_^This cooker is the best. Set it and forget it! Auto cooks any amount up to 6 cups. Take the burn warnings seriously, because I freaking burned myself on the steam one day. *derp*Good job Korea! Way to make another awesome thing, you deserve a raise.

Love it
I had this rice cooker since 2013-14 and it has been amazing. I love that it has a handle to carry it like a basket. Easy to clean and easy to use.
