CHECK SCALE! Image may not match product!
Great strings. Light and comfortable, sound great. Note the product as listed is JF324, short scale strings, but the Image clearly shows JF344 LONG scale strings. Make sure you get what you need. The description is right, or at least that’s what I reviewed when I ordered.Seller really needs to update image.

Best short-scale electric bass strings on the planet!
Thomastik flats have a wonderful tone, are low tension and last forever. I've had these on 2 of my basses for 10+ years. Excellent value.

Bass Strings
Very nice strings. Kind of pricey, but apparently you can't just go buy flatwound short scale bass strings in your local music store. Anyway, they play very nicely, sound great on my '67 Guild Starfire and hopefully will last a while.

Great sound
Tried these to get a more acoustic sound from my Guild Starfire 2 bass. Had my luthier install as these can be tricky to put on. Also different tension so have to adjust the truss rod. Took a few days to break in, but sound deep and bright now. Does give me a more acoustic tone and feel silky. I’d say that they are worth the extra money. These are short scale. Thinking of getting a set for the Ric 4003. Those are regular scale.

Thomastik Jazz Bass Strings
While described as flatwound they are really between flats and roundwounds. In my opinion these are the best all around string for most music types. Bright enough for slap but mellow enough to go "Motown". If you want the brightest strings out there these are not for you. However if you want a great string feel, sound and lasting value - these are highly recommended. In fact these are my very favorites for the majority of my bass guitars.

The best strings for my bass!
I have a 1967 Guild Starfire II bass and also a 1974 Guild JS-II. So far, the Thomastiks are the best strings I've found for both basses. If you like the "old school", thumpy bass sound then these will probably work for you. They are also the least stiff of the strings I've tried which makes them easy on the fingers. A bit pricey, but hey, life is short. Why not play what you like?

Package arrived with no D string🙄
TI flatwounds are not cheap but neither is caviar. The Jazz Flats are the best flatwounds ever. If you take care of them they last almost forever. The older they get the better they sound. My advice is find a local seller like Strings and Beyond for quick delivery and better quality control. This would be 5 stars review but for them not checking the string gauges before shipping. I got 2 G strings and no D string. Mistakes happen I guess but this is the short of lack in quality control that makes you nervous.

This is the holy grail of bass strings for 90% of players. Worth every penny.
If I had to choose only one bass string for the rest of my life for all my basses, THIS would be it. Expensive but worth it. Great feel and sound with punchy midrange and solid bottom, and last forever. .

Expensive but awesome.
These strings are sound great. Arguably one of the best flatwound strings ever made. Warm tone. A joy to play and they get better with age.

Best Flatwound Strings
I've gone through them all. Ernie Ball, Rotosounds, LaBella, D'Addario and Fender flatwounds. These are the best strings you could possibly ask for. Perfect feel, tone and overall just brings out the best you could ask on a bass and Flatwounds. Never going back to anything else.
