Works perfect
This is my first tank so if I call something by the wrong name I apologize now. I love this air pump and stone! It was so easy to put together. It works perfectly and I love it. It is loud but I took the helpful advice from other reviews and placed it on a piece of foam and the pump is now quiet. I also added a control valve because the bubble flow is too strong without it. Pippin seems to enjoy it and it's relaxing to look at.

Works great!
The air pump works great for the price. The only issue I have is that it vibrates pretty hard, so setting it on a hard surface you would definitely hear it. My fix for it was to set it on top of a little bit of Styrofoam. Now it is quiet and works great.

Does the job it's supposed to do
I bought this air pump back in April of '23 and it's worked so well for me since then. It's quiet compared to other pumps, though other reviewers are absolutely correct about needing to put a rag underneath to dim the sound. It'll still make a decent amount of sound, but just a faint hum.My main gripe is that after not even a year of owning it, it's completely crashed on me. I woke up this morning to find my pump is barely on, and there's not a bubble pumping into my tank. I now need to buy a new pump, and unfortunately due to how it didn't even last a year, I'm going to look for other, more sturdy pumps from now on. (Not to mention how it's not even available to purchase anymore as I'm writing this)As I said in the title, it does the job it's supposed to do. It doesn't last very long, and it makes a little bit of noise, though it worked exactly as it was supposed to for the months that it lasted me. Overall I'd say it's a great pump aside for the fact that it broke on me too soon.

Pumps air and is durable
I use this air pump to pump air into my tempeh incubator based on a design I found. I'm not sure of its purpose. I'd guess it is to provide oxygen to the fungus or to keep the water circulating in the incubator or both. Anyway, the pump has been doing this for a long time with no problems.

Quite and makes bubbles; my fish are immortal
My main concerns were that it would be quiet and that it would make bubbles. Works great for my 5 gallon tank. Replaces one that’s about 10 years old and got noisier over time. I downgraded from a 20 gallon tank when there were only five fish left. I now have three fish that have now been alive for a decade. I call them the immortal fish. I really want to let them live out their lives. My friend said I should flush them but I think she’s wrong. These are creatures living under my care. I’m responsible for them. What if we all get reincarnated and I end up being a fish in their tank? If that happens I hope they choose the AQUANEAT Aquarium Air Pump.

noise
short cord had to use an extension cord to be able reach the plus and base of the pump to sit near the tank. also very loud with the vibrations

Great air-pump for the price!
I bought two of these air-pumps for my tanks, and they work great, I bought a separate tubing just so I have a better range (since my tank is high and wide) and it works perfectly. The bubbles don’t create too much movement where its stressful for the fish and the only time it’s noisy is when the vibration is picked up by a nearby object.I strongly recommend if you are interested in a pump that’s both strong and small.

Exactly what I was looking for!
The media could not be loaded. Bearded dragons don't typically recognize standing water as drinkable unless you begin training them when they're really young, which I've done successfully in the past. Unfortunately, Quagmire was nearly an adult when I found him abandoned outside my apartment this past fall and was too old for the training to have much effect. Had to get creative and that's where this aquarium air pump comes in to play--just a few dollars turns standing water and a potentially future mildly dehydrated beardie into moving water and a well hydrated beardie with his very own jacuzzi/large toilet 🙂😒.It's not loud enough inside his enclosure than I can hear it with his doors closed unless the room is dead silent, which it never is. I had to put the base of the pump on his screen top and it rattled obnoxiously, but that was easily remedied by setting it on a small towel.Would buy again.
