I've used these in several applications where the screw head will show. Their bronze/black coating is consistent in quality and the screws themselves are very well-made. The threads cut and hold very well in wood but will also work well in sheet metal with pre-drilled holes.

These are just great screws. If a screw can be great... these are. I had to build 6 crates for shipping art work and these screws mated my 1/4 and 1/2 plywood to my 1x6's with perfection. Even you don't need them now. Buy a 100 or 2 and keep them in your tool cabinet. I've never written a review on screws before. So believe me, a good screw can make your entire work day go better.. Buy these!!!

Ordered this item to tack down a magnetic strip for a robotic vacuum. This worked perfectly. Found the same item in a local hardware store at about ten times the price for loose items and about thirty percent more for the box. If you have the room to store the extras, this is a great value. Fully self-tapping.

The built-in washer of truss head screws is very handy and useful I think. Wish they sold a variety pack in lengths that span a good home-use range. Good product that is a little hard to find except on Amazon.

Solid, does the job

Using these to make a poor man's drop ceiling in my basement with some thin acoustic tile I picked up. Screws go into the wood great and the wide head holds the tile perfectly. Definitely buying more!
