Otto LinkAccordion Accessory (OLR-402-6S)

This is my first hard rubber professional grade mouthpiece for my alto saxophone. It is a step up from my Yamaha 5C. It took me about a week to adjust, and it just amazes me how much I can do with it. It is excellent in both the lower and upper registers, with a great semi-dark tone. I should be using this mouthpiece for the rest of my life. I am very happy with my purchase.

My saxophone instructor suggested that I get rid of my fancy mouthpiece with a high baffle. My subtones we not smooth enough. I needed a mouthpiece that was inexpensive and didn’t had a low baffle.This mouthpiece sounded great out of the box. The thinking that a particular mouthpiece will give you a certain sound over pushed to sell expensive mouthpieces.You develop the sound that you want by using a simple mouthpiece and practicing your sound.This mouthpiece allows me to work on my sound and sounds warm.

Great mouthpiece

Good tone. It may be an embochure problem, but I haven't figured out how to get it to stop squeaking. My previous mouthpiece was a yamaha 4c.

This was dark for what I was looking for. But it was consistent throughout the registers. This is the right mouthpiece for some people.It was new, and the return process was effortless.

Really efficient and reliable for a starting professional. Great sound and great balance of a jazzy bright tone. Personally recommended!

Sound great when you have alot of air to push. However, I can't get a good seal on it. Other than that sounds ok.
