I bought this as an AWD, and it came well packaged and in excellent (new) condition. I hadn't ever owned one of these before, but I liked the idea of using a non-electric way of keeping food warm while finishing the cooking of other meal components, or keeping things warm on the table while we ate, so I thought i would give it a shot.It's plastic outside, with a metal interior. You fill it with hot water to warm the metal, then drain out the water, dry the interior, and put your food in. This size isn't big enough to simply put a plate of food into, but i have used it to keep biscuits warm, as well as slices of ham, bacon, etc. It washes easily (no dishwasher, though!) and is quite lightweight. I am interested in buying one that I can place a dinner plate into, so I may be purchasing another one, if that size exists.

We bought it store chapatis in it. The Casserole is useful but I wish they had proper finishing along the edges. Also the lid does not completely fit into the lock, but still manages to close the Casserole and keep the chapatis fresh. These are the only downside but apart from that it's a good product.

I saw some bad reviews complaining that this container is inferior and shoddy. As I have no frame of reference to judge and know how such container should look like, I think that the container seems to be just fine. There are some plastic splinters on the rim due to low quality craftmanship that some reviewers mentioned in another review of the same brand. I just used a fingernail clipper to remove such splinters. I do not have a chance to test the durability and to verify if the container will keep foods hot up to 4 hours as claimed or not. Since I got the containers from Amazon Warehouse, the lower selling price would be acceptable for this type of container.

Tried multiple products and finalized this one. I am happy that I found it finally.

I have used this for 6 yrs n finally had to change it cuz my burner melt it walls .It has served the purpose of keeping tortillas/rotis warm for 30 minutes or so( basically needed it to keep things warm while we are having dinner) .It isn’t fancy looking but serves the purpose and washed well too without any issues.

I don't know how I found these originally? I was trying to find a way for the family to sit down and eat at the same time when we go camping. I bought a similar one that was smaller. Followed the instructions of preheating with HOT water, emptied it and started putting pancakes in it. I had a stack of hot pancakes and everyone was sitting down at the same time. So I bought this one. We use it for home and camping. When the family comes home with grandkids, I use the smaller one for sausage or bacon and the larger for pancakes, waffles or french toast. I serve other foods in these but that is where it started. If you have to transport hot food try this. I have transported cold food in it with ice surrounding a smaller bowl that I placed inside.

It’s a great product and worth the money

It is a so so product. There is an even cheap feel to it. I have been using it for the last five months. The use is typical South Asian style, where the unit is used almost every day to keep the home made bread warm. I have noticed the one of the plastics handles that also lock the lid in place is cracking. The plastic definitely doesn't have the best quality.

The lid of the box is not working properly

I would say this is not definitely export quality product. Feel like a cheap injection moulded plastic overall. But I do think it will hold the heat or cold. But I don't expect it to last more than an year or more as the overall quality is not great and there is a high chance that water will get inside the insulation when you are washing it.

The inner part was loose when I received and the lid can't close properly but I got what I paid for.

Very ok product, plastic used is not of high quality.The size is fine. It looks good though.Within the price range, it is ok.
