I have mixed feelings about this product. I tried it for the first time this morning. Followed the simple instructions. Wet the crystal then apply. I did just that. However I am very thorough with deodorant. So I apply liberally. After a few swipes on one underarm the stone gets dry again. I kept swiping thinking it would stay wet enough with what water was already on my underarm. Nope! Instead it literally starts to feel like little razor blades pulling on my skin. I shave my underarms daily so I don't really get razor burn...but that is exactly what this feels like. I imagine under some magnification this stone is porous, but it literally felt like someone was using a pumice stone on my skin over and over. Maybe I am using it wrong? Maybe after every swipe you have to wet the stone and have your underarms dripping wet? I just showered and thought I'd give it another go considering how much it cost. Feels like I am putting a fragrant lotion of fresh razor burn. Very painful. My underarms are now a faint red. I have used dove my entire life so I am assuming that my skin just isn't used to the stone yet. Hopefully it goes away after a little bit or I will be forced to not wear anything until it heals then switch back to dove! :( if you have been using one deodorant your entire life and have sensitive skin...be careful! Apply water liberally. The stone does its job absolutely...I just wish it wasn't at such a hard price to pay for my skin. :(

I have been using this crystal deodorant for over two years now. The reason I like it is because it prevents the odor and does not leave stain on my clothes. This product does not stop you from sweating and it does not work unless you use when your clean, in other words right after you wash yourself. But I do take shower, use this product, and go to yoga class. And I sweat a lot, but it works like a charm, no odor. The only thing is it is expensive and getting more expensive, I don't understand why.

I bought this while looking for a deodorant that didn't contain aluminum, was unscented and wasn't too expensive. This product has worked very nicely for me thus far. I'd recommend giving it a shot.Pros:-No white marks on clothes-Lasts all day without reapplyingCons:-You can't really tell how much you applied because you can't really see it (You have to wet it, apply and have faith)-The shirt you wear has to be completely clean or else you risk getting a weird smell on it (my underarms will smell neutral but the shirt/garment will have bacteria or something that might smell if I wore it previously)

If you are contemplating using this, contemplate no more. Get it. Been using this for nearly a year now. This is my second purchase of this product. Each stick/rock lasts 6 months or longer. I was traveling and had to use traditional deodorant recently. Never again. It was sticky pasty just plain nasty. This stuff is so much cleaner than any spray, stick or roll on. I bought my 2nd and put what remains of my first purchase in my travel bag.It doesn't claim antipresperant properties, but it works as good as any antipresperant that I've ever used and I would be considered heavy in the pit sweat category.

I own a few wool T-shirts and struggled with staining of the underarms from the various deodorants that I was wearing. I stumbled across an article that suggested trying a crystal deodorant. After reading a few more reviews, I decided to give it a try. I perspire and was quite concerned about being offensive in polite company, but that has not been a problem at all. This works great and really appeals to my lifestyle. If you are looking for an Ammonium Alum crystal as a deodorant this is a good option. It is a good size for travelling and the container is handy. Other reviewers have suggested trying it on their feet for foot odor. I will be trying this next. Definitely worth trying.

My husband hasn’t used this on just yet, but we are both using one just like it. Our shirts used to get yellow stains under the arms from using other deodorants and antiperspirants. Now we don’t have them. You will sweat but we usually make it 24 hours before reapplying.

Plain & simple...it seems to work. Although it doesn't always work all day especially when I am sweating heavily. But regular deodorant did not work all day either for me. I believe this is a much better alternative than regular deodorant with all of the chemicals. I've been using this about 45 days and I am planning on continuing to use this from now on.

I’ve been using Degree for years and the Costco rep told me about this deorderant. I love how it doesn’t leave the white marks like the others do. I only wish there was some sort of scent to it.
