I go through these more than plasters I reckon! My old faithful thermometer died so after trying one of those Brauns and finding that reads way too high, I bought this. It doesn’t read as high as the Braun did, but it still on the higher side. It has a calibration button but the problem is, that’s manual, so if ya mess it up, it’s a risk. I wouldn’t buy it again even though I knew how to do that, I don’t think you should have to. Having said that I’d definitely choose this over the expensive ones and if you do know how to calibrate it properly then it’s ok.

Great little tool, however found I need to measure three or four times to get a more accurate reading, but it measures fast enough at the click of a button; useful for when baby is asleep.

Works as it should and easy to use

This non contact thermometer is great value for money!The results are almost instant and seem very accurate and consistent.Batteries are included in the package as you can see in the picture. It's got a handy little pull string bag for storage and can easily change between Celsius and Fahrenheit (switch is located under the batteries).The in ear measurement function is a neat little addition and can switch over as easily as taking off the cap!All in all, a great non contact thermometer for babies, children and adults!Would recommend to all.

thermometer isn't great my child had a temperature but the thermometer didn't agree. Waste of money.

Apologies. I found the probe and probe cover. Probe cover but fiddly to remove. Thermometer works well. Little switch inside the battery compartment to change from F to C.
