I got the 1-1/8" screws with the included bit. These are fantastic! I drove these into very hard Oak. I had to press very hard, and the screws don't Pop-off and launch into oblivion like most screws.I looked for these on big box store websites, but none carry these. I was glad to get them on Amazon- just had to wait a couple of days. The price is really good too. I will definitely buy more of these Velocity stick-tight screws with bits.

I needed to put up a lot of shelves in our newly renovated house and this set of screws and bit were a Godsend for getting the brackets drilled in to the studs.I stuck a bunch of screws into an upended cardboard box and spray painted the heads white to match the brackets and they look very nice.The bit is a perfect fit for the screw heads, no popping out while drilling.

These are not conventional wood screws with a solid body under the head and a tapered threaded section. An enclosed photograph compares a wood screw with this "woodscrew" product. It has an appearance more like a deck screw or a drywall screw. On the other hand the cost is halfas much.
