These replaced the now-discontinued ones I bought from Philips a few years ago. One of the Philips was DOA (don’t EVEN try to contact them about it!) and one had a super-short battery life. Wife wanted me to replace the dead one and if they had still been available I probably just would have bought a new set of those. I’m glad they weren’t! These are better in every way. Rechargeable with a convenient USB charger (fast, too!), fairly realistic looking (especially, but not necessarily, when in a frosted glass- but note that the holders that come with this are plastic), and a super-handy remote control with brightness and flicker rate adjustment. The remote is infrared, not radio, so I thought it might have trouble when the lights were in the glass, but not so. The remote works great. The only complaint I have is that the timer is cyclic, not one-time. That seems like a very strange design decision, but I guess it must work for some.Oh, by the ways, this IS NOT one of those so-called “moving flame” candles (which are actually really cool). That’s not a knock on this product because I don’t think they claim it is, I’m just letting you know. I couldn’t find any tea candle size light with a moving flame. These are roughly the same diameter as a tea candle (of course, taller) so they should fit in any tea candle holder you might have.

I love these little candles!I do alot of travel and there is nothing more relaxing then to lights some candles!But there is always that fear if falling the sleep with a candle burning!Or having to get out of bed to blow out all the candles!Then there is making sure you have a functioning lighter!And then you have to carry extra candles and the candle holder and let not forget the mess of the melting wax!With these candles they do the tick and they are rechargeable so you don't have to worry about carrying extra batteries!They are small and lightweight!And the remote is amazing!Just click of the remote and they illuminate! Another click of the remote and they flicker just like real candles!And there is a on/off button too!I especially like these because they recharge in a little tray that is good for storing them unplugged!There is also a dimmer and a timer on the remote!I haven't used the timer yet, but I understand that you can program the candles to come on daily at the same time.....WOW!I have enjoyed these candles so much that I have purchased a bigger size just for my home!These will be used strictly for traveling!I love candles and I love theses!

I agree with other reviewers that the color of the candles is more toward the white end of the spectrum than it is amber, but that's not necessarily a drawback. One thing I do notice is that the casing for the candles is translucent so you can see a bit of the electronics within the candles as they "burn." But it isn't terribly distracting, and for the ability to burn these for hours on end, and to then be able to recharge them and do it all again, that is an issue easily disregarded. And the remote control works well to control on, off, flicker and dimming. I did have a problem with the charging port on the first set I bought (it disconnected and fell inside the charging base) but I was able to quickly and easily replace it. I am getting easily 15 - 20 hours of light out of these per charge. And they recharge within a few hours. I light them pretty much every evening now. The photo is of 5 of the candles in a candle holder purchased from another merchant here on Amazon. The sixth candle is on our dining room table in one of the included sleeves - we light it for a little ambiance during dinner as well.I would recommend these and would purchase them again myself.

The clip, suction cup, and stake options make these very versatile. They're small, but cute, and don't feel or look cheap. I put one at the bottom center of an autumn wreath hanging on my front door, attaching it to the glass in the door behind the wreath using the suction cup, so far it has stayed put. I also plan on using the candles on a Christmas tree, and I think that the clips will work well for that. I deducted one star from my review because the remote has no timer option, and the SL/FL buttons didn't seem to make a noticeable difference in the flickering effect. The +/- buttons work well and adjust the brightness about 4 levels. All in all, I'm satisfied with these.

The media could not be loaded.  Great product for the price. They work wonderfully and flicker just like real candles!Remote is handy but what is more handy than just asking my Alexa to turn on the candles?If you have an Infared transmitter (Broadlink in my case) what a romantic evening with just a few magical words. They recharge in only a couple hours and retain that charge for.... havent had them off long enough to find out!Hope this helps and I am NOT an affiliate of any of the companies above. I'm actually disabled and these lights are super cute and great that they work with Alexa no matter which way the Broadlink is facing :P

Read all the reviews and decided to take a chance on this product. It worked well for a couple of months with occasional use. But it recently would not charge and we opened the charging port to find out if we could fix. As you can see by the pictures, the USB holder is very, very lightly soldered to the panel and it broke off and cannot be fixed. Due to the reviews I was careful with this product when charging, but even a light hand cannot save this... it is meant to be used a couple of times and then thrown away when it breaks. Extremely disappointing! I hate throwing things out, but had no choice on this.... Would have been happy to spend the extra money on something that actually works, but this is not that product.The candle lights themselves are nice and the remote works well and is convenient. But this is a product intended for a "one and done" event. Walk away unless you just want to use it once or twice.
