Great boot with superior protection.
Great boot. Offers superior protection. However I returned the boot as it was to difficult to put on my horse who does not stand very well with his golf in the air. With him squirming it was just going to be too much of a hassle to put on. I still recommend these if your horse will stand for them to be put on. The have a three step velcrow attachment system and would definitely stay on securely and offer protection. I recommend the to anyone looking for a means to protect hooves for a barefooted horse.

Priced fairly.
The boot fits better than others I’ve tried. Easy to slip on. After many hours of trail riding, they have not come off even once.

Very nice and easy to put on. Call manufacturer and they can help with sizing.

Twisted while riding and then fell apart
I'd used these boots a handful of times and although my mare was happy to have her tender soles protected going over gravel and rocky terrain, they were bulky and had a clunky sound. If you've ever tried to dance in hiking boots and then danced in cowboy boots, you'll understand the importance of sleek footing. You can pivot and spin and as you walk, your posture is one of confidence in a sleek boot. After a several hour ride, I looked down and saw that Mortana's left boot had twisted, so that she was literally walking in a sideways boot. The right one had turned all the way around! These boots seemed to be the perfect fit when I strapped her in, without a lot of room for shifting. I was horrified, and wondered how long she'd been walking like that?I thought that one of them was damaged, as the outer shell fell away from the rest of the boot. When I looked at the other one, it seemed to be the same, so I figured they were designed to have airflow and flexibility and hadn't been damaged. The next ride, a few weeks later, I made sure time that the boots were as tightly strapped as possible, bringing both sides of the velcro over as evenly and tightly, and then cinching with the outer strap. Despite the fact that the outer strap pivots, it felt like they were only securing the top side of the velcro wrap. There is no support for the lower half of the velcro strap. We stopped after 20 minutes and I checked them. The right boot seemed to be off center and was twisted a bit. I re-strapped it, centering the boot and cinching as tightly as possible. We ran up a gravel hill and halfway up I check the boot again. It seemed fine. When we came down the hill, after a lot of zig-zagging to slow her down, I checked the boots again. Now the left one was twisted and the entire inside of the right boot, including the entire heel and all the interior material was under her feet! She'd been walking on them for about a half mile, and now I realized that it was the ruined boots she'd been walking in that were causing her anxiety. It appears that EasyBoot doesn't stand behind their product and do repairs, so I'm out $130 and looking for a boot that stays on.
