Red Carpet Manicure Starter Kits (RCM Starter Kit)

Wonderful as expected. The only gripe I have is that you advertised the pink polish that I wanted in the photos , but this kit only had red polish in it. The clear is gorgeous as it always was, self leveling, it did not require grit filing , it is smooth clean and gorgeous when applied directly following instructions, and when it doesn't touch the cuticle as it specifies. It's endurance is medium hard, which is great for allready healthy nails. This product has multi application uses, and is a versatile answer to short or long time quality soak off gel applications. It can be filed, and filled weekly or at intervals depending on your needs or the adherence taken into consideration everyones body oils are different. You can use the base gel as a builder if you have time for curing and are patient with sculpting. If you adapt this product to your needs understand you cannot touch it to the cuticle or skin, or it won't stick, so use a foil form or tips if you need extensions. For basic manicuring, this product will out perform regular polish every time if you follow the directions. It is a versatile coating for natural or artificial nails, yet it performs as great as artificial builds when applied correctly. In thin self leveling coats, it has performed as great as acrylic sculptured nails when used in the correct manner. This product will chip if you bite it . It will chip if you dig at it, clip at it, or apply other products on top of it. You cannot mix this product with other formulated brands, or it will not work . Take care to apply to dry buffered primed nails or artificial surfaces or it will not bond. I reccomend using this product 100% with their own brand primers, removers, bases, colors and top coats. If you are not a chewer, you haven't a worry as long as you don't mix products, this is awesome. When curing in the light , you may experience 3 to 5 second tingling depending on the thickness, if applied in thin multiple coats of 2 or 3 passes, you will find this tingling of the curing reduced, and more uniform surfacing, if you try to apply large thick coats it will run, tingle and bubble because it is not designed to be thick . The pigment coats take about 1 pass to perfect. They are beautiful and hardy and most cure out as well as the clear base and top. They aren't suited for tiny delicate paintings of 3D or fine detailed paints, but they will hold non metallic glitters well. Metallic glitters will heat inside the gel and cause pain and pitting, cracking and splitting. I put this on myself regularly, and it is beautiful and simple to apply. You can expect a minimum of a week for oily nails , and for dry nails 2 to 3 weeks , for touch ups of slightly blemished nails with no lifting, you can use a buffer, the oil lifting cleaner, the primer , a thin base touch, and a thin top touch, and you're good to go. You can blend colors with this product, given the batch is good, you can ombre the edges. You can file , fill, or soak these off in foil wrapped cotton balls .

I had my first gel manicure done, at a local salon, and fell in love with it... I didn't want to have to pay the salon price every time I wanted to get another one done, however, so when I saw this kit recommended in a magazine, I thought I'd give it a try!I ordered it in the summer, so I didn't want to go with the red polish that came with the kit~ that was an easy fix as I just ordered a lighter shade through Amazon... I actually read through the directions first (not something I'm normally good about!) and then proceeded to complete each step as instructed... It was all so easy and I couldn't believe how quickly my nails dried!I did have a problem with getting some of the top coat on a few fingers, which caused the polish to peel prematurely, so I recommend being very cautious and making sure no polish touches your skin... The instructions do stress this, too... It was a piece of cake to redo those few nails, though, and I feel the more I use the kit, the better I'll become at giving myself perfect manicures!This kit will pay for itself in just one or two manicures, depending on how much you normally spend, at a salon, in your area... It's an amazing deal!I do use an old plug I had at home, in lieu of batteries, too...Mary (not Mark~ my hubby and I share an account here!)

I already have a Red Carpet UV light that I love but I needed to refill the products that come with it to make it work (prep primer, purifier, revitalize oil, structure base coat, brilliance seal and the nail polish remover) all the kits with those products were slightly over $30.00 and up and then I found this kit that had all of the above, another light plus a nail polish for just $29.99 so of course I got it, it arrived like 3 days after I ordered it and it didn’t come with just the bonus nail polish, it came with 4 bonus nail polishes and surprisingly they’re not colors that would be considered unpopular, they’re all very nice colors (I’m at work, if I remember to, i’ll Get pictures when I get home) Anyway, I was going to just give someone the extra light but it’s actually perfect for doing my feet because it’s shaped sort of like a stapler so it doesn’t have the hood like my first one has. It’s really a very nice product and you just can not beat the price. I’m keeping this seller on hand that’s for sure!!!!

Product first: I have had gel nails before and this works exactly the same. The light works perfectly, curing the polish in only 1 minute just as it is supposed to and then staying on perfectly without chipping. I would give it 5 stars if not for the snarky service from the fulfilling company! The product arrived wet because something inside had leaked, and it was missing an orange stick with buffing pads that it was supposed to have. I contacted the company and did not receive a reply. Amazon asked me to rate the shipper so I told them I had contacted them and not heard back. Boy I got a reply then! They sent me an email telling me that they would credit me $5 for the missing pieces and leaky bottles. Unfortunately what I wanted was the missing piece and full bottles but they were not very concerned with that!Product: Great! This product was purchased as a gift to my wife; however, the nail polish was gummy and not satisfactory. Although I request a return, I keep getting a message that this isn't eligible for return for "safety reasons".Please let me know what option I have. Can I get a credit in the amount of $42.99 to purchase something else?Thanks.

I researched the market and thought I was aiming at a middle of the price range kit that would suit my needs - I am a novice at gel nails and didnt know whether I would find it beneficial. Unfortunately I didnt realise quite how important it is to have a lamp that will cure in a reasonable time frame. This lamp takes 2 minutes to cure each coat and as you will be applying 4 coats (your thumbs separately) - it takes a long time to complete your manicure. Th upside is, it is portable if you need that facility.I have since found much better lamps for only 25.00 which cure in 45 seconds. True, I could have purchased the Red Carpet Pro which had a lamp meeting this criteria but it was so much more expensive. In hindsight I should have purchased the items separately but at the time I didnt have the confidence to do this. The supplier Ella Gray gave no cause for concern and I certainly didnt have any problems with the seller.

Well I bought this on sale, so I don't mind that it didn't work for me. To begin with, the shellac does peel off and the specific colour would not apply properly making it look lighter at some points and darker in the same nail if that makes any sense. The product was even used by a professional to my nails, as I thought it was my fault but the same result unfortunately! Tried the lamb with the cnd shellac and didn't peel off, so I believe the quality of the colour polishes is not so good.

Came quickly, but it doesn't match the description. Didn't get any of "20x Remover Wraps, 20x Lint Free Wipes, 5x Orange Wood Sticks, 1x Buffing Stick, 2x Adhesive Buffing Tab Strips, 1x Emery Board". Disappointed

Nice little set, the polishes are great and can't fault them. I found the lamp a bit fiddly to use and actually bought another one but it worked fine (think it was operator error). However even with buying another lamp I still think it was good value for money.Seller was also great.

Easy to use saw this for nearly twice the amount I paid for it.
