Good for Seasonal Affective Disorder
Last year I went through a medical crisis and for the first time in all the years I've lived in my apartment, it just felt like I was in a pitch black hole. The dark days of winter never seemed to offer enough light and suddenly, my apartment didn't either. I'm also getting older and grew tired of not being able to see as well as I should. It was time to replace my standard lightbulbs. If you have standard lightbulbs in your fixtures, they are size A19 and these bulbs are compatible. They use much less wattage than standard lightbulbs or CFL's and they lower your electric bill. I kept reading about a blue tint that comes from these LED bulbs and it made me nervous. I need the light for reading and working at my desk and didn't want "blue" light. It turned out to be very misleading. These look like the light you would get from daylight. That's all you need to know. The moment I put one of these in and turned the lights on I was very pleased. Everything is not necessarily brighter but just lit better. It's more attractive than yellowish soft white lightbulbs. These give a room a small inexpensive makeover. The days have already turned dark and I've been dreading the change of season but I think these bulbs will help a great deal. I can already see so much better. I highly recommend these and will be buying more.

Senstive to voltage changes
I have had a few LED bulbs over the years and my initial observations were good, but not great. The light output was fine, and the bulbs were super light compared to the heavy and older GE variants. The reason I chose these bulbs was for a no non-sense replacement to Phillips Hue bulbs which I found died within a year or two of use. My hope is that the longevity of these bulbs will be much longer. My main issue with these bulbs compared to other non-dimmable LED bulbs I have owned is that they are very sensitive to voltage fluctuations. Old-school incandescent lights and explicitly dimmable LEDs lights usually have this problem but this is my first experience with a non-dimmable LED bulb being so sensitive. For instance, if your A/C kicks on and drops the voltage for a bit, these blubs will flicker. If you have a device that that's on the same outlet or circuit such as a heater, these bulbs will flicker. I thought with LED bulbs this type of behavior would be a thing of the past, but I wonder if GE got a little cheap here and decided to leave out a capacitor in which is present in older models and their competition. That being said, the flicking issue during voltage fluctuation isn't enough for me to return them seeing as the value and the rest of the operation is acceptable. If they last longer than the Hue bulbs, I'll be happy. But seeing as they do have this quirk, I'll probably look for a different model/brand during my search process to avoid this little annoyance.

Great Temperature (color) LED Bulbs
Temperature (color) is almost as important as wattage or lumens with LEDs. These are 5000K, and in my opinion, the best color to use in the kitchen, living room, or room where you want it bright, but not harsh.

Bright
My rooms are all white now instead of yellow. Optometrist says it’s has no worse effect so I’m going with it for now.

High quality daylight LED bulbs
I like the ‘Daylight’ temperature of these bulbs. I am 72 and the bright white light makes many things easier.

Eye squinting, uncomfortable bulb.
The bulbs are rated "Daylight" but the light is a blueish blinding light. It actually makes me squint. It's not a comfortable light that's emitted.

Very good light for general situations
These are my primary bulbs for the kitchen and ceiling fan fixtures throughout the house. They are a little too much for the bathroom where I have softer bulbs. These are long lasting at a very good price.

Daylight is a Very blue white bright and cold lite
This bulb is daylight color, very blue white like ultra brite fluorescent lighting. Cold. It’s my fault being I’ve not bought LED and I didn’t know how blue white brite daylight would be. I also bought 40 watt bulbs that I opened and trued.I didn’t want the yellow cast if a soft white bulb or incandescent and since government has made bulb manufactures change to LED it’s hard to know how to get back to the natural light of the former Reveal light bulbs.

Low Quality
Within the first month, one bulb stopped working. A couple of other ones will flash sometimes.I will never buy these again.
