this is a great cable, very strong, doesn't tangle, really robust and came really nicely packaged.i have had to knock a couple of stars off for the following reason. when plugged into a wall charger, this charges the ipad just fine. however, when plugged into the macbook, it does not charge it - it only allows data transfer and allows data transfer at a slower speed than the genuine cable. the genuine cable also allows charging and data transfer. so, great cable but does not seem to charge other then when plugged into a wall charger.UPDATE: now it IS charging in my macbook. i have not installed any drivers or anything, unless there has been some sort of update overnight or something, but it was plugged in so i could move some files around. once done, i had left it plugged in at 60% charge and this morning it is at 100% charge.

EDIT: After contacting the seller, they were very helpful and processed a refund very quickly. They are also offering to send me a replacement as well. There are lots of positive reviews on here so I will assume it just a one off error with the cable/batch of cables. Have changed to 4 star because of sellers swift reply.My charger arrived yesterday afternoon. I was really happy because it arrived earlier than expected and my old charger was refusing to charge by the point.I plugged my phone in, and left it overnight. The charging symbol was on, but when I woke, I only had 48% charge (symbol was still up). So, either the charger is running ridiculously slow or it came off charge during the night.Two hours ago, my battery died completely whilst plugged in using this charger. It’s taken over half an hour to turn back on, and after leaving it on charge for an hour (periodically checking to make sure it’s still charging), I only have 8% battery?!So far, I’m not happy. I may as well have kept my old charger that needed to be held in a certain position because even though it was pain, it would still fully charge my phone as long as I held it there!!I have contacted Amazon and the seller and am awaiting a reply. If the problem is rectified, I will amend my review, but for now, my advise is don’t waste your money.

Needed a second charger so I could have one upstairs and keep one downstairs. Saw one in Asda which was almost £10 more than this one, and I don’t see how this charger could be bettered. Convenient long cable, green light on plug, and durable. And it arrived the day after ordering.

I bought three of these and they have all come apart at the usb end and twisted at the charge end. The usb end where you can see the metal has come away got hot and having not had them that long they have started to need to be wiggled around to get them to charge the device.They seemed very good on opening but unless you are using for her light occasionally use they won’t hold up.

Working like a dream my original charger stopped working so decided to try this one with a nylon cable definitely recommend this.

I was delighted with it for a week but then it over heated at the end by the phone and actually burned my thumb when I tried to remove it. Really dangerous. I’d had a problem with a black one with a similar look (diff company) whjch stopped working within weeks and was also v warm prior to that but this was scorching- akin to touching a burning pan. Do t know if it’s a design fault or what but it should not do this. I gave an iPhone 11

After a few hiccups with my charger, which is a perfect length. The compacted me to see if there's anything they could help me with I explain the concern, they were courteous and managed my concerns accordingly. Great business to deal with, excellent customer service. They truly put their customer first! I would recommend this product and seller.

I ordered this charger yesterday and got delivered today 2june2020, I needed a new one due to my friend breaking my one that I bought from b and n for £19:99, and I was gutted that broke seeming I paid abit for it, so I needed a new one due to having a spare that wouldn’t charge or chose to charge little, so yes picked this one out as it was next day delivery and the price wasn’t bad either, and so far, I would say all good, it charges my phone quicker than my old one and the lead is pretty long, so so far all good for now and hopefully it will do its job for the near future and keeps working like it does now, so yes very happy with it, and it’s doing the job it’s meant to, so I would say it’s worth buying and it’s what it is
