As a toy for little kids, I give this dart board five stars.
Review of Bluehouse Dart Magnetic - Magnetic Darts Board Game SetThis is a toy for kids.A cool toy, a fun toy, a relatively inexpensive toy and if you are between the ages of 6 and 10, you will probably have a lot of fun with this toy.But gear your expectations... It's a toy.If you (or your kids) are older than, say, 10 or 12, get yourself a nice horsehair dart board and some good darts, or pop round the pub and play with theirs. These darts are molded plastic with integral plastic flights and neodymium magnets at the tip. They are smaller than "real" darts (Better for smaller hands). The aerodynamics of these darts is virtually non-existent, but remember, it's a toy. The magnets are fairly strong and stick to the board reasonably well (...but probably not as well as you might hope). The dart board appears to be made of a VERY thin sheet of steel(?) laminated between two layers of shiny, textured fabric (nylon?). It appears to be fairly durable. It is about half the size of a 'regulation' dart board. The paint (Ink? Silkscreen?) seems to be sufficiently flexible and I expect it will hold up well over time. The one I received does not have the decorative border around the edge as pictured. Hardly worth mentioning, but there it is.The metal end(s) of the cardboard 'storage tube' are kind of beat up. It looks like it was caused by the, fairly heavy, dart board bouncing around inside. That might be prevented if the manufacturer would put a wad of tissue paper in each end. I strongly suspect the tube was ever intended to be used for storage and transportation after purchase, but it would serve those functions quite well if slightly better materials were used.If you hang the dart board against a hard surface (wall, door...) the darts will tend to bounce off rather than stick. An inch or so of space between the dart board and the wall will cushion the impact and allow the darts to stick better. I suspect that was the intent of the big round bar at the top of the dart board, but it's not enough. Hanging it from the rod, in front of the curtains seems to work well. Perhaps you can find some hooks that will hold it an inch or two away from the wall.In my opinion the quality of materials and manufacturing are good to excellent when intended use and target audience are taken into considerationAs a toy for little kids, I give this dart board five stars.

Big hit!
I was worried getting this that they magnets wouldn't be that strong but they performed perfectly! It was a Christmas gift for 7 year olds and was then used by young and old alike. My only advice is to keep it away from anything else magnetic. They hung it up next to the Christmas tree and when they missed and hit the tree they would loose the darts in the tree. Not because they got stuck on branches but because it was an artificial tree and it got stuck to the ornaments or the tree itself! It was actually kind of funny, but red darts in a Christmas tree took some time to find.

Acceptable Alternative to Traditional Darts
This was a decent purchase if you want to throw darts without throwing darts. The mats are decent quality and the darts stick, but the magnets could be stronger. It comes in a nice case, but I'm not sure of the longevity of the product.

Built well
Exceeded my expectations. Pretty sturdy build and I like the case it's in. The one I received has a stain as if something melted on it but it doesn't affect use. I would recommend.

PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE
THE USE OF MAGNETS INSTEAD OF SHARP POINTS IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA AND I LOVE THE STURDY CASE FOR STORAGE .

Great for kids
My son and his friends love playing darts and I dont have to worry about holes in my walls. The magnets are really strong, I was actually surprised how strong they were.
