Monte’s book is written in a different way than the usual, in the beginning I found it strange but after a while I got used to it and enjoyed a lot, for sure he had to be a guy to fit all types of personalities and achieved that with splendor, everyone loved him and he finally could open up by writing this book.

I have several copies of Monte Melnick's excellent book, On The Road With The Ramones, because I think it is the best and most complete book EVER written on the band. Monte was the Ramones' tour manager from 1974-1996 and was there for everything, through the good times and the bad. His book has photos and information that you will not find ANYWHERE else. A true must read for ANY Ramones fan. How can you not read this fabulous book by someone who was there for EVERYTHING!!! Monte IS the Ramones!!!

Wow!! Very riveting! This is such a great book and his stories make you feel like you were on the road with him through all of the Ramones downs & ups! The book itself is really good hefty quality, pages are thick, & colors are crisp. This is definitely going to be my coffee table book (and a perfect gift too) because almost every single page has pictures of something along with the dialogue just like a great art book. I’m very happy with it!! Go for it!! A.

Great book, different from what I expected. It's a compilation of nearly everyone involved with the Ramones, from band members, friends, wives, road crew, record company people, management and etc, all compiled together and going over the story of the band. This is not the sole narrative of Monte Melnick. It's a very good read and I highly recommend it alongside the books written by Marky and Johnny.

The book has lots of information about the Ramones, written by their tour manager, Monte A Melnick. The photos and artwork are fun to see. After you have read this book you understand who the Ramones were and their long connection to Monte.

Great book with stories from Monte about life on the road with the greatest band ever!A must for any Ramones fan.

This book was so good...very entertaining as well as some very sentimental stories shared by Mr. Melnick. It was pricey to purchase but hey, I wanted it lol.
