Good fall coat
*update* - So I've been wearing the coat for a month or so now, and it's still mosty great! It's warm enough for the winter if wearing over a sweatshirt so I appreciate that. The only thing I've had an issue with is the pilling- because it's fleece like material on the outside, it pills pretty heavily, but it's something I can deal with, especially for the price!!I live in Maine, and was looking for something that would still be warm for the fall but not as heavy as my LLBean coat, and would still look nicer than a sweatshirt. I normally wear about a size 8 so I ordered the XL (china sizing) and made sure to get the heavier version. I just got it today but already love it, lol. It's a bit big, which is perfect because I will be able to wear a sweater with it, it's heavier than a sweatshirt and has a white sherpa style fleece on the inside. The zipper and buttons means that it will close tightly if needed, or I can wear it looser. I think I will be able to wear this through a good portion of the winter (I'm not generally outside for large amounts of time when it's cold). Length was good- I'm 5'3 and it hits about mid thigh, so long enough to keep my bum covered but not get in the way. Overall well worth the $40 :)

Great for tall girls!
I am 6 foot tall, barefoot. I usually have to get men's coats and jackets for shoulder span and arm length. I took a chance on the Navy XL, as I looked at the measurements and was afraid large would be too tight on my shoulders. If you are tall (like actually tall, not this "I'm 5'2 and have long legs" tall), you know how frustrating it is to not be able to raise your arms above your head in a coat because you feel like you will rip the arms off (and we probably would if we kept going). I wanted a cute, wool(ish) kind of coat that resembles the style of my dad's old Navy coat. This fit my shoulders and arms perfectly! The material is similar to the Navy coat material I was looking for as well. I could synch the waist a tad, but I don't mind a bit of extra moving space as long as it doesn't add a bunch of mass. I love it so much I ordered the green stripe one cuz the pattern looks more dressy, and I love that one even more. I'm actually crocheting a cashmere scarf just to go with the green one. I think the XL is perfect for us tall girls that want a classy looking, thigh length wool coat look, however looking at other pictures you may need to be careful with color selection depending on the look you want. Some of the gray pics look a bit sweatshirty. Navy and black will look like mine and the green stripe/ pink stripe look like a cute peacoat. Lord knows I never thought a peacoat would ever fit around these shoulders! Good quality for the price (especially since a similar $200 coat wouldn't fit my Amazonian @ss.) Fabric won't stretch out of place. Would recommend to my fellow Amazon's and Viking goddesses.

Perfect!! Except the zipper
Edit 12/31/2020: over the last 2 years my body has changed with age. I turned 40 and things are different. The coat I bought was a size small and I am going to donate it and repurchase a medium. The arms are too short and the body of the coat doesn’t fit around my chest. I’m a 34C bra size. This coat was clearly made for smaller Asians. I’m an average sized 40 year old American. I weigh about 115 pounds now. If you are planning to wear a thicker sweater or sweatshirt under the coat I would suggest getting at least a size or two bigger. I wear a long sleeved tshirt with my small size coat and still feel tight in the breast area.12/2018: I’m 5’0”, 105 lbs, and 38 years old. I look like I’m 25 so I’m told. I needed a winter coat but didn’t want to spend even $50. I’m not poor, I’m economical. I also wanted a coat that wasn’t stiff and that wouldn’t hinder me when I was driving. I found this coat and the reviews were awesome and it looked great too. Stylish and functional. Not super heavy but not a windbreaker either! I got it on Prime and it fit perfectly!! Warm and soft Sherpa inside and on the outside it’s soft too. It Almost feels like I’m wearing a long hooded sweatshirt. The length goes just past my butt, which I like, and when I sit in the car it isn’t getting shoved up but also sitting on the bottom I don’t feel a bunch of tugging. I can move in this coat!! I would have given it a 5 or more if there were more starts, lol, except today it’s been just over a week since I’ve had it and I’ve worn it every day and just today the zipper split. I wasn’t mad at first because even super expensive coat zippers can split. I unzipped and zipped (attempted) four more times and every time it split going up. I was so pissed off because I had an appointment to get to and my newborn was crying by this point. I just got the coat off and threw it and grabbed my windbreaker jacket. Today, of all days, it’s freezing cold, windy, and snowing. I’m hoping I can get the zipper to cooperate otherwise I’ll have to get the zipper replaced by a seamstress. That’s the only thing wrong with this coat.

Love It 🤗💖
This jacket is so cute!! Fits true to size. I am 5'6, 155lbs and I ordered a large and it's not too tight, fits nice and goes alittle below my waist length wise. Has a warm and soft inner lining and a hood. Washes well, I air dried. Has a zipper and cute buttons for closure. Color is very nice. I'm very happy and will be ordering the pink one next 😁

Cute Sweater Jacket
Like others said, this is a sweater jacket. But it is very warm. Too warm for me actually. Our temps rarely go below 50. I grew up in the Northeast though so I know about cold. While I wouldn't wear this in a snowstorm, I could see wearing this on a cool crisp night by the bonfire, even in 40 degree temps. It has a soft fuzzy lined hood and feels like a thick sweatshirt. The zipper and toggles are good quality. It stretches. For me, a large fit and im normally a size 14. But the length was almost to my knees (I'm only 5 ft tall). So I would say not for me.
