Deluxe Panel Repair Kit

This kit did not stop the leak in my solar panel. The pressure forced the plug out. You may have better success going to the bottom of the leaking strand to where the water enters and making a hole to plug so that water does not enter the strand with the leak. Just a thought. I ended up replacing the panel. It was a twenty year old panel set, so they all ended springing leaks. We ended up ordering and installing 7 panels over a three year stretch.

The product was as described. Shipping time was a little slow. My biggest complaint with this product is the cost. The yellow container is the most expensive part of this product which might have cost Fafco six dollars to produce. To charge a customer in excess of fourty dollars for this item is price gouging , greed, and basically taking advantage of a prior customer for buying their product in the first place. When it comes time to replace my solar panels in a couple of years that will be the first question I have. What is the cost of a repair kit? The local Fafco dealer would not even sell me one. Have to gouge me for a $75 service call for 15 minutes of work which I can do myself.Last nickle they will ever get from me.

I will never purchase the fafco solar again. every year it springs a leak..so now I have had one every three years... the price of the repair kit is to high

This small repair kit is a big money saver if you are a do it yourself person . Our solar system heats our pool and has leaked several times. Each repair has cost $125.00 . This will save you money,

Too big of a diameter for the Fabco solar panels

works very well but seems a bit expensive

the cutter was hard to use so i used a utility knife the plugs worked well as did the pusher i could of just gotten the plugs and saved a little thanks dave

What can I say, I have fafco panels and this is factory repair kit. It works just like they claim.

These plugs were for a size up, which was very difficult to determine prior to purchasing. And the kit is ridiculously expensive for what you get.
