Wild Republic Nature Tube River, Animal Species Found in American Rivers, Gift for Kids, Great for Interactive Play

I used these critters on a marsh themed birthday cake for my eight year old son. Turned out great!

My son absolutely loved these river animals! Plays with them everyday! Especially loves the little river otter! They are not cheap or weird looking! Excellent detail work on everyone!

Always looking for more realistic animals for our classroom animal bin. These are great, accurate, and durable. Like most toys the smaller animals are made a bit bigger than the larger ones but that's a toy for you... definitely the brand to choose!

Loved it! We only needed the otter for a science project, but we used the other animals to make the scene look more realistic. It came with a crane, an otter, a frog, alligator, turtle and a few other animals.

I am appalled at the poor quality of the pieces in the tube. I had ordered the river otter set which was fantastic. The pieces in that set were made of solid, hard plastic and there were no rough edges or lines down the middle from the molds. But then again, that was from the older version of the nature tubes.The river set is totally different. It's obvious that the plastic is of a different quality; it is more flexible. The paint job was horrible and what's worse, many of them came with ugly, jagged, protruding lines down the middle from the molds. The beaver, which is supposed to be a cute animal, was so ugly and unrecognisable that my daughter had to ask me what it was, and she's usually spot-on with recognising animals.I am utterly disappointed! If I had wanted something ugly and cheap-looking with poor workmanship, I could have looked at the thrift store and paid a fraction for it. At least I would know what I would be getting. After waiting so long for it to arrive, the nature tube doesn't meet my expectations.

We used this set for a school project, a diorama. It was perfect for life like creatures & everything needed to set the scene. Good quality figurines, hard rubber, and real life colors. One con is that not all figures are sized respectively. Like alligator was smaller than birds and fish.

bought 2 packs for daughters school project on otters, description says that each pack has 2 otters in it which would have been perfect but the box contained 1 otter and 1 beaver. we are now left scrabbling trying to find something else to use because this product didnt arrive as described adn returning it is not an option as we need the otters for the project to be turned in on time. very disappointed
