I have been a runner for many years. I have done all kinds of runs from a mile to a hundred miles, (which was some time ago). I have used lightweight backpacks, camelbacks, handheld water bottles, and belts to carry my liquids. They all have had their problems. I saw this running backpack last week and decided to give it a chance. It’s not very expensive. Today I went out for an 8-mile jog with my new Sguten Hydration Pack. It was 80 degrees and I brought just over a quart of water. Instead of using the reservoir that comes with the pack I put several water bottles in back and a small water bottle in front. It was amazing. The pack stayed on well, it didn’t move around, and because of the mesh, I could wear a singlet. It had a compartment that I could put my iPhone without any problems. In addition, the pack is very light and seems to be well constructed.I found only 2 small problems. First, the side straps occasionally brushed against me when I was jogging. I’ll figure out a way to secure them by either shortening them or tying them off. The second problem is unavoidable. The pack was a little warm, but the mesh helped keep it cooler. I’m sure I’ll love this aspect when the weather gets cooler.

Used it for Marine Corps marathon in DC, loved it. My daughter used it for he first 100 miler in Virginia and it worked great, no rubs, lightweight, held all the stuff necessary for each 20 mile loop. Big thumbs up!

Great product. Wore this for two 14.5+ miles obstacles course races and it worked great! Held everything i needed and then some the pockets in front are easy to get to and use. While running it did not bounce around, it stayed snug the entire time. The front zipper pockets will not fit a smart phone, maybe and old school smaller flip phone? These pockets are not water proof but the big pocket in the back is. The water pouch is different than what I’m used to, but i like it! It didn’t leak and is so easy to clean.

well, overall is fine, provided the basic 2L water bag, I will try later. and inside of the front pocket, there is one hidden one which you can store somethingthere are the two pockets on the left/right belt, both of them provide the one ziplock to store your phone or key or whatever. and also you can carry two extra bottles of water.first of all, I feel a little shake when using it, but after getting used to it, cannot feel it.but there is one thing I need to point it out, the pockets on the front left/right is not water-proof, the sweat still can get inside it, so if you want to keep your money or others which is easy to get wet, I suggest you put it into the hidden pocket, not the front twos.I need to try more. so far so good.————-The water bag is easy to install and sealed well beyond of my expectations

I like work out during or hike in a park for a long distance, last time I visited cedar reserve park for 8 miles use hand to carry my 40oz water bottle all killed me, this one give me enough space to carry my own water bottle if I want some cold water and extra pockets to hold phone and key.

Overall this is a great backpack. I use it for marathon training. It’s very comfortable and easy to use. However, the string to tighten one of the pockets broke after just two or three uses. I now have to use this for things I would be okay with losing since the pocket no longer closes.

This hydration backpack is light and have enough pockets to carry everything you might need on a long run, keeps you cool during the run (Florida runner here) and is comfortable. Easy access to small pockets in front, with that said durability is an issue with this backpack as you can see in the pics, the pics were taken after I use it for the second time just by getting a small flask( provided with the vest ) in and out of the pockets the elastic red string that helps that pockets to open and close just broke.

The media could not be loaded.  Light weight and easy to use. Holds a lot of water which is perfect for long hikes. Comfortable straps for long wear. Very happy with it.
