Very Sturdy & Effective
Birds like to perch themselves on the top of my mailbox and crap all over the place. I did some research and decided to buy these spinners. I have had this same spinner on since last September, including all through the winter and it keeps on spinning. It's been through some heavy winds - 30-45mph and is still there, undamaged and working. The birds do not like this at all. I usually don't spend the time and write reviews but when I find something that works this great then I owe it to the manufacturers and of course potential buyers to let them know if an item works or not. This one definitely does. I secured this to the back of my mailbox post using one small plastic wire holders you can get at a hardware store - the ones people use to tack a wire in place and a small screw a little bit lower - see photos.

Festive and Useful
I put these in the landscaping around our pool to help keep the ducks from visiting…the motion and light reflection seems to deter them. Plus they look fun around the pool 😎

Overpriced & Total Waste
Put all of the pinwheels in my yard. About 20 minutes later, all the neighborhood geese walked up to my yard to see the pretty pinwheels, watched them spin for about 10 seconds, and waddled right past them to eat my grass seed and crap all over my lawn. Complete joke for the price considering there are totally ineffective!

not keeping geese out
Was hoping it would keep geese off my property but they go right past the product. Guess it didn't do what it was supposedly going to do

Not Quite Working for my Zucchini Patch
The pinwheels are very nice and have all survived the elements .... but ... as a bird repellent .... I'd have to say that its mostly a fail. I've put them all around my zucchini patch and birds are still getting to my zucchinis. They 'may' be deterring birds from flying down to the patch, but they land safely a foot or so away from the pinwheels and then walk to the patch. I've tried pushing the some of the pinwheels really close to the soil and they still come. This might be better suited for hanging veggies like beans, tomatoes or peppers, if they are not hanging too high above the pinwheel.I do enjoy watching them spin with the breeze though. Not sure if they'll survive for next yr since I see the metal ring where the pinwheel meets the staff is corroding.

Sturdy and works
I got these pinwheels because birds were pooping all over my new wicker patio furniture out back. I looked at getting one of those owls, but the reviews said the birds get used to those because they do not move and pinwheels would be a better option. I have had them out for over a week now and they have worked very well. They have kept the birds away and withstood high winds during a couple of summer storms. I was worried they would blow away because my backyard is like a wind tunnel, but they have withstood some pretty high winds. I also like how tall the posts are.

Attractive and Inexpensive
We use these to deter animals from our garden and geese from our waterfront property. They look like decorations but they serve a purpose as well. They are as expected, not super strong but enough to stick in the ground or attach to poles. All are still in tact more or less after a month.

Cheaply put together
These are cheaply made - don't turn very well based on the way their built - wouldn't have purchased if I had seen them up close first.

WOO HOO!!! NO MORE GEESE CRAP!!!
I waited awhile before I wrote this review, just so I could be confident with my comments. In 2021 we had geese crap all over the dock, deck and grass area, I tried stakes with fluorescent line with attached ribbons, individual survey flags, animal decoys and nothing stopped the geese from crapping everywhere. May 2022, I put these bird blinders in the ground very close to the shore line about 6 feet apart and it worked IMMEDIATELY! We have not had one drop of geese crap on our dock, deck or grass since I put the bird blinders up almost 3 months ago! The blinders make a little noise when it’s really windy but I kind of like it, almost a soothing sound to me at least. Main thing is they work at keeping the geese away, I had 2 of the tips break but was fixable with a little electrical tape. They stay in the ground too, we have high winds on our lake and not one of the bird blinders have come loose. I’m hoping I can get 2 or 3 seasons out of these bird blinders and when they start falling apart I will definitely buy them again. In my opinion there worth every penny, you will not be disappointed.

Bird Deterrent
These pinwheels did not work at all. The birds were eating the lawn alongside the pinwheels. Would definitely not recommend.

Did not receive poles for mounting
I only received the spinners in the box. Didn’t include the 15” poles as described in the description and photos.

Very bad design
Not happy at all poor design. No instructions on assembly. Lasted a week outside. Was constantly checking on them during windy days and they don’t spin as they’re flimsy and keep spinning into the pole. Not worth the money spent.

Keeping the birds off our deck!
We love the bird community - but not always on our deck. These repellant's seem to be working. We measure success by bird droppings on our deck and they are definitely down.... Still birds all around - but they just seem to be steering clear of our large deck - which is what we were hoping for.
